Sri Lanka's Most Beautiful Road Has Elephants! Today we will be driving the iconic B35 road in Sri Lanka, which runs through Yala National Park. We will be driving from Tissamahara to Ella, Sri Lanka. Along the way we will also stop by many villages to pick up so some snacks and checkout points of interests such as temples. Yala National park is famous from their safaris, but in this video we will be traveling through in a tuktuk as we make our way to Ella, Sri Lanka.

Everyone goes to yala so it is very crowded. For a better experience go to wilpattu national park, less crowded and across 3 safaris, I saw 4 leopards in wilpattu. Also when you go to wilpattu you can arrange with the safari to go to a place called "thambapanni". Thambapanni is such a beautiful place and unique because of the sand colour. The sand is almost purplish red colour or "raw copper coloured" and the contrast with the blue waters is stunning. Pretty much zero tourist goes to these places, which I don't really understand.

The B35 roadways to Ella from Thissamaharama looking so great. The souvenier shop's ladies were laughing because they may not be comfortable in speaking english when enquired about the prices. But the guy was able to communicate a little bit and sold a 3000/- worth of small elephat souvenir to you. Thank you for the generous help to the shop owners and their handycrafts are looking gorgeous and neatly made. I wish them a good business in the near future. The waterfalls view that you viewed was Ravana falls in Ella. You can try some Italian and mexican menus at A K Ristoro restaurant on the road that leads to little Adams peak. It is a Srilankan fusion restaurant and their staffs are super friendly and gave us best service in 2020.

i got to play with elephants in thailand at a sanctuary and they were very gentle but still kinda intimidating.they are huge and can stomp your a s s with one foot.never had experience with them in the wild but maybe when i go to sri in the future..i also trekked, swim & fed the elephants of the sanctuary and that was awesome

In SriLanka also they have elephant Orphanage in pinnawala. You can see herd of elephants going to Bath, even u can feed them... But Sri Lanka have lots of wild elephants.

This has happened to us, we noticed a few tuks and a bike go around a bend and then turn around and face the opposite direction, when we reached them they indicated that we should do the same, we were a bit puzzled but then realized that there were 3wild elephants on the side of the road and the reason every faced the opposite way was so that we could leave in a hurry if we had to in case they elephants were not in a good mood! Luckily they were and soon wandered off!
