Your presentation is fine. Realize that we are in the same shape as U on this end. The prep was not necessary. The time frames and structures you showed were excellent on breaking down these symbols. Thank you for all this diligence.

Very good video. I liked your comment about if you are playing a 15 min flip you should be out in 15 minutes. (or at least if you are short term trading). I have found MM love to be tricky and time is so important- they can make an hourly (or any) candle look so bullish only to reverse it completely in the last 5 minutes. Thanks for the videos!!!!

Recently I had an epiphany about "narrowing formations" such as flags, pennants, and symmetrical triangles. I think the reason price tends to breakout in a big/fast move is because either way it breaks you have a lot of pivots/stops in close proximity (like a mini PMG).

Correct. "narrowing formations" are our 1's or inside candles. We play the break, never inside of the tightening range.

Great video as always. Do you prefer to play intraday continuity across the time frames or reversals? I like to play swings, I find continuity or reversals to the longer time frames more reliable. Do you look at the indices for confirmation across the time frames as well? Cheers

Longer time frames hold more weight. If you only want to trade in full time frame continuity that's totally fine and a safer way to play.

Sara, do you ever play a 1 (inside candle) both directions? I would assume if your in a trend, you'd follow the trend, but at a possible reversal or sideways price action, you have to determine a direction or play them both to see which one triggers and then cancel the other.....??? Thanks

So, since every candle is a 1, 2 or 3, the Strat Patterns show up almost all the time. So, do we trade all the time, and by that I mean, do we trade when a new bar starts forming? Thanks

There a border on both of red and green. However, color not so important if you play the setups correctly. They can give more confidence to the direction tho, sure.

Quick question, do you use a ToS program that auto populates the highs and lows for the various timeframes or do you chart all your levels "old school??" Mine are manual but I'm sure you can find a study. I'm just drawing horizontal lines, the price shows up automatically because of a setting I have turned on in think or swim

So from my understanding, the 'flip' is when a new candle forms (and takes a new or makes a move in a certain direction?). Please excuse my question, just evaluating this method to incorporate into my Currency trading.

Does that mean if I am anticipating the flip on an hourly chart then I should wait for the hour candle to finish forming if it is no where near the high or low of the previous candle?

No, not quite. Just be mindful of the flip and what happens from one hourly candle to the next.

hello you talked about the importance of why the flip matters in a positive way but what's the opposing? i think that would've made it come together more for me if you had spoke about the what you don't wanna do. I've heard strat traders talk about certain platforms flip at the bottom or top of the hour. really don't quite understand this. if you could maybe do a follow up video to this one (would be a good topic for you next video) or you can try here that would be great. thanks for all you do

I didn't speak on it positively or negatively. It would depend on the trader and if their long or short. If you're short and the flip happens and they are obviously buying that hour you'd wanna cover. Vise versa for longs.

Thanks for the video - very helpful. One thing I'm not understanding is that sometimes you say "I take my profit on the target and I get out, I don't care if it goes higher", whereas other times you talk about scaling in and adding to your position. Could you explain the difference please?

The way I understand her is if we want to add to our position that would be the time to do it. I don't think she is saying she does it just that you can if you want and showing us a good time to do it.😊 At least that's what I hear her saying.

Lol. If you know anything about the strat, it isn't about predicting, its about reacting. Predictors lose. Traders trade. Also I can't very well teach about flips that haven't happened yet.

@@errorerror1337 You are not getting it Error error. But just to help, many of her vids discuss what will happen next. Watch the vids and take notes for days AFTER the vid you watched. Example the end of this, she said it looks like NIO will go up. So, on Mon/Tues watch Nio and see if she is correct. GREAT work as always Sara!
