I talked about this in the video. Not having to be the first one in, waiting for a pullback then entering. As far as stop buys or limits, depends on the spread of what you're trading.

I don't take longs at all time highs. My personal rule. I will find something else to trade. I have no target when things are at ATH's besides psychological levels.

Yes I always start with the Monthly. VIX is a measure of volatility so when things get real fast and volatile on the indices the VIX does too. It also went outside month. The strat works the BEST when volatility is up

Oh... I think i get it now. June 14 was when the month was triggered to go green, and aligned with continuity -- but there was no good entry point ont he daily, so you waited for a pullback and entered 3 days later on a 2-2 upside reversal? Is this right?

Sara, I think I finally understand about the lack of indicators on your chart(s) and the premise of the outside bar triangle (broadening range). Number 1, it's so much easier to see what is going on with the price movement/action with as few indicators as possible ( except for possibly volume and or a moving average here or there). Also, we should strive to find the outside bars which possibly provide for a hint as to the future price movement and the future range of future price. In other words, it gives us parameters to work with as we draw the triangle as far as price targets, when to get in, when to get out, etc. Although I realize that in trading, nothing is perfect (although it sometimes may seem like a perfect setup), this really helps me to understand what the heck I am doing! Because I know so little and I've been struggling for quite a while, this is truly an epiphany for me. This is very exciting! Thank you so much! One more thing: Which time frame in your experience provides the most accuracy as to drawing the broadening range, or does it matter to you? Thanks again for your patience!

Draw a triangle? It's just a pullback. In an uptrend, it's a 2 down, corrective activity that doesn't change the Continuity of the higher time frames.

A rev strat is 1-2d-2u or 1 2u-2d
