There are replacement trottle bodies that replace carbs on old school hot rods over the years they have been very successful with new companies building single, two barrel and four barrel even dual quad set ups tunnel ram intakes driven like hohum grocery gitter ..mild cause its eletronic fuel injection built into the throttle body chip with o2 sensor reader self tuning 24/7 on the fly in auto tuning wide band o2 sensor plug and play ..map able settings or leave it in auto tune never having to return back to the rollers ..or never going to the rollers in the first place ...there are problems with fuel injected from a quad carb into and old school stock intake where raw fuel can puddle in tight raw cast runners ...solved by useing new high performance intakes ..i believe you guys can probably do that ..but with a side draft EFI you will never have a puddling problem in the first place ...i would assume the air temp sensors would also be placed in the throttle body .that the advance kit could be a two barrel barrel version of the big single side draft version with efi you are no longer limited to the atmospheric pressure of 14.7 psi to atomize the fuel instead you have two individual pluggers set off by 12 volt solenoids ..hell make your own efi injectors with replacable tips rods coils ..for old school harley wrenchers who refuse to buy anything non-rebuildable ..of course in this case not cost effective ..but if thats what it takes ..you gotta give them what they want right..today old school is meeting new school as the super wrenchers have their own dyno-jet at home and do tune up on the side ..your ultra efi is a two throat sequential efi ..why not with a two barrel why not have it all in a plug and play for something like a 100cuin evo mounted in a 1996 FX with a baker six speed gear set in the cases that bolt to the back side of the engine as they are from the factory with a 20 plate baker king kong klutch ohlins front and rear and to show you mean business a dry Nos set up with a fogger in each of those intake runners of this new s&s air cleaner you have cast to fit the very 1st S&S plug and play or forget and let the chip auto tune up one side of the continental divide ..over the top and back down the other side onward with light grey dust inside a set of S&S grand nationals mount up on a canyon carving FX evo that will never bust a cam chain or need a new cam chain tensioner ...and to place your o2:sensor 18mm wide band bung holes even if you have no welder or cant weld ..there are now strap-on threaded 18mm bung holes of i think i counted Five designs oh ebay from $15 ,- $75 ...thers are two inch air/fuel gauges that fit polishedi al guage pods and head temps to be toggled from one head to another ...the biggest danger of dry Nos is too much more that the air temp intake sensors cant shoot in the extra fuel ..and right now that a limit if a 40hp power shot ..darn it does that mean ill only have 120 hp when i hit the button on my Noster girls bike ..that just too bad ill just have to live with it ... One more thing about Nos the main thing is popping the tops off your pistons ...and why is that,? Cause Nos over done makes a bunch of hp in half the time right on top the piston ..where does the heat go ? To the path of least resistance the compression ring that gets hit with more heat than it can dissipate to the cylinder fins and escape into the global warming then the top ring grows like weed to touch the ends together and pitch the top of the piston off...so its simple you file the end gap twice big But wont it smoke and burn oil? Yes but it dont gotta if you dont wanna ...gapless ring set been around about as long as i has and im older than dirt and should know better ..there are now about three different designs and companies with the two rings on one ring groove stagger the double wide end gaps enjoy dry Nos with no blue dust behind you ..ad oil cooling spray jets inside your S&S 100:inch evo cases and hit the horn button and no beep beep but the sound of a screamin eagle hooked up on laughing gas gasing a laugh ...oops im sorry i just made you another million bucks now you will have to pay more taxes ..but its ok for me on disability S.S. so i can get a raise and buy the first S&S side draft EFI with a fogger

Theoretically, would one vent to atmosphere if they didn’t attach the breather to the nipple?

Yes but route the tube somewhere where oil spill wouldn’t bother you.

Hello. May I ask you a question? I have a Dyna 2016 low rider. And I want your tear drop. But I'm confused about what to buy between 170-0303B and 170-0528. I want to know the difference between the two.

That’s a great question & we definitely understand the confusion. 170-0303B is our classic 3 bolt pattern Teardrop, similar to what would go on a carburetor where as 170-0528 is our new Stealth system with a 2 bolt Teardrop cover. The Stealth system tends to be more popular on Injected bikes, and allows you to use any of our Stealth covers if you should ever want to try something other than the Teardrop.

Can you attach a breather filter to the nipple on the breather tube instead of routing it to the intake? Is there a plug to cap the nipple on the intake?

This system was designed to route similarly to the stock system and we recommend using it that way.

Any time you adjust the fuel or air mixture, we recommend having your bike retuned on a Dyno to ensure you are getting the most out of your upgrade.

Like any exposed filter system, if you are going to be caught in a downpour we recommend running a prefilter/rain sock. www.sscycle.com/products/air-filter-cover-for-tapered-tuned-induction-filters-black-nylon/

Right, you take Stainless Steel version, cut the nipple on it, recap properly the hole with TIG welding, make it clean and spray it with epoxy. Add a silicone hose from breather bolt to a filter or catch can and make it run along the frame. I think this air cleaner is the best thing to make a really clean installation on a Harley!
