Excellent mod Martin. I love it... I'm looking forward to watching your full video. It looks like a very clean install. The only change I would make (knowing me) is adding a push button switch to energize the toggle switch so I don't accidently hit the switch inadvertently. I would love to do this to my LX if it ever arrives. 🤣 Dan

Great. One more thing I didn't realize I couldn't live without. I'll try to be semi-sensible and wait for Gen 2+ so you can work the bugs out before I throw my money at you... Great idea, hope this is as successful as I fully expect it shall be.

This will be interesting; looking forward to the full video. I'm also curious how you deal with the very common situation of having to get off the tractor, sorta stomp down on the front of the implement (be it the bucket's front lip or the forks) to get the thing seated so that the locking pins will engage. Sadly, I don't think this would be very practical for me since I have to do this on my L3901 most of the time. It's rare that I can pickup the implement and it's fully seated straight out of the gates.
@JCWren
@JCWren Жыл бұрын
That's kind of odd. I swap between forks, regular bucket, and litter bucket fairly frequently and never had to do that. If it's not hooked quite right then just roll the loader back and bang it on the stops a couple times, and everything seats fine.
@DIYMyWay
@DIYMyWay Жыл бұрын
I don’t have that problem as long as I curl the implement all the way back before engaging the locking levers. The weight of the implements seat it fully when I curl it back. Maybe that will work for you too. Thanks for watching!
@zippyslug31
@zippyslug31 Жыл бұрын
@@JCWren That's interesting to hear. I've been thinking about this and it's possible that the top/hooking edge of the loader arms might have some burs from the manufacturing process or just that the corners need to be eased a bit to allow it to seat better in the pockets of my implements. I'll have to take a closer look at what's going on here.
@zippyslug31
@zippyslug31 Жыл бұрын
@@DIYMyWay Yep, I do the same thing Martin. For some reason mine just need forced to fully seat and the locking pins can be fairly tight. I've swapped between the loader bucket and forks many, MANY times so I don't think I just need to wear them in, either. As I replied to another comment, it's possible that I have some interference with my fitment... will have to take a closer look. Regardless, I'm still interested in seeing your full video of this product. Looks pretty clever!
