We had an early morning run with some friends to St. Louis Ponds in Oregon in search of some recently stocked "Trophy Trout," which are typically in the 15-18-inch range (sometimes more and sometimes less depending on the hatchery).
We were fortunate enough to lock down a nice spot where we immediately got into fish and ended up having some fun. It was definitely combat fishing about an hour after the gates opened. What else would you expect on Spring Break?!

I recently just started fishing and learned about this place from someone at Rogers Landing. Using advice I have gotten from friends and the internet, i have yet to catch a trout here. But i have caught Bluegill and Bass. But maybe going before sun up is the time to go.

Ha I wanted to go there but that place is always packed and full of dirty people taking way more than their limits and it’s stupid pack most time

It's not our favorite fishing environment for some of those reasons but we figured since we got there so early, we might as well stick around. We didn't have much time.
