Morning Fr. Mark. God bless and keep you. One of my favorite prayers and the first prayers I remember learning as a child 🙏

For most of my life, I thought that the concept of he guardian angel was silly. But now I've recently started to acknowledge their existence.

I ask my guardian angel to hold me in his arms when not well or afraid. I feel his great wings around me and I sleep that way at times. When a bad storm is coming I ask the angels to surround the house and spread their wings to keep me safe from damage or hail. I’ve seen the storms change direction many times. When I’m afraid I ask them to surround my house and make it invisible to the outside world while I sleep. I know my guardian angel has protected me through a dangerous periods I wouldn’t be alive now

I asked my Guardian Angel to go to yours when you were paddling On Lake Ontario. 🙏🏻❤️ Have a blessed day Father Mark. (But I’m glad He’s back by my side now ).

As a child of about 2 or 3 - I was happily playing and conversing with someone. My mother, in the other room, was curious and asked me who I was talking to. The young teenage looking girl sitting next to me said to tell her "Mickey Mouse", so I said "Mickey Mouse". As a 42 yr old adult, I had locutions for about a year of Jesus, Mary and my guardian angel. Once I asked my angel her name ( felt like a female), she said "Christina", and then went on to explain the meaning g of her name - "I am from Christ".

We just watched Bishop Athanasius Schneider speak tonight at the Catholic Identity Conference about our Guardian Angels where he heavily quoted Padre Pio on this subject as well. What a blessing! Padre Pio, Ora pro Nobis!

Free will is key. Our freedom is the reason we can be rewarded for good actions and punished for bad actions. We are responsible for the CONSEQUENCES of our choices. Temptations are normal. We are never tempted more than what we have the capacity to resist. The rest is up to us. The amount of help we get depends on how open we are to God’s Will, and on who else is praying for us as well... Guardian Angels pray for us and they protect us from excessive temptations and they inspire us with good ideas so we can succeed. They offer our prayers and sacrifices to God. They remind us to be like Jesus in praying for the salvation of those who hurt us. Sometimes guardian angels get permission from God to protect us visibly, so that our Faith can be strengthened. We will know in Heaven about all the times they fought demons for us, inspired us and protected us, while we blindly struggled in this valley of tears.

Thank you Father. This is so very beautiful. I am feeling very thankful today. I went to confession and asked the Lord to forgive me for forgetting at times that He has given and assigned a Guardian Angel to me, to each person. I wonder does this happen as a baby when christened, does it happen when one is born from above and baptized 🤔💭 I do not know It is what the eyes and ears of the heart know in quiet contemplation and in silence that we may accept an abiding Angelic presence with us. If God allows me to experience this I believe I will not ever be the same. To dwell upon this is even in itself a tremendous gift of grace. Oh Lord, please help me to desire like Blessed Mary and Joseph to be noiseless and to submit to Your Divine Will 🙏🏾🌹

My first prayer to a guardian angel will be to help me believe in a guardian angel.

Mine are all the angels esp arch angel Michele maybe that is junivell but I do pray to God and Jesus and the angels I pray for guidance and protection and myvheart loves everyone. I remember when I was little but not much to little with my mom and Dad and one of my sisters and brother and I were having dinner thunder came, I pray for the thunder to go away it did. Everyone creaked up.
