I have lived with depression all my life really. The Saints like Saint Padre Pio and Mother Theresa. Both had bouts of it, for different reasons. I draw great strength from their words. Telling us to just keep going. Know that God is there and His truth, and just keep going. I also found a way to offer up my mental emotional battles. Because it is pain. Its the pain of Agony.. Just like Jesus in the Garden. I used to dwell in it, and all it did was lead me to despair for weeks sometimes. But, remembering Jesus in the Garden. I turned it around and offer it up now. Now I only get Moments or a Day of these feelings. I remember the heart ache and sorrow our Lord went through. And I pray for all those like me who are still fighting without Jesus to find calm in the storm.. I pray that they find him. Once you realize you can offer it up. God will take it. He will exchange it for the calm peace we long for. Jesus literally calmed the storm on the sea. He can do it in our stormy heads too! God Bless and Don't Give up.. Give it up to Jesus instead. Amen. Padre Pio is the real deal no doubt from personal spiritual experiences. Ask for his help and do his prayer. Thanks Mark, listening to your videos has truly been a blessing. There are a lot of us that need that little spark daily weekly or whenever and you have been that for me.. i have a few things i listen to to keep me focused and you are tops. Honestly I struggle with discipline in the faith meaning applying myself. me being experienced as say a rebel and free spirit understand that discipline or routine is so important. It is so easy to stay drifting in this river of the world of life's ways and what we feel comfortable and used to but then along the way we realize how far we have been taken and or realize when maybe it's too late a drop off is coming. We must dock our Rafts and get back on to our own feet and not let all these influences make our way. Rather, we must travel the path ourselves along the path there are thorns and uncertainty but it is God's path that hives us comfort no matter what. Whether we face death or tribulationd, this is to make us strong whole compassionate etc , to develop us.. Fr Mark, we can hear the emotion in your voice. I can only imagine the frustration of wanting so much to help, knowing what needs to be said, but being unable to say it. We had a good priest in my parish. He spoke the truth and was called on the carpet for it. He left for another parish but he is close enough that I can still attend his mass from time to time. He has to be very careful with what he says now but he will be truthful with me because he just won't go along with lies. You are both a breath of fresh air! May God bless you a million times!

But now they are praising God for the restoration of power over the weekend. My brother John Michael on the West Bank may be without power for 4 weeks; he has a good supply of gas for his generator. Please pray a Rosary for John who is a lapsed Catholic. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

I don't normally ask this but if somebody could pray for me please, I've been out of work for 8 months. I'm a 27yo man that has fallen into a deep depression. I feel as though I have no masculine purpose, no path in this life. Suffering greatly from physical and spiritual sloth and financial burdens. I'm at that age where I should be carving out a career path, saving up money for a house, and bettering myself as a man daily to attract a Godly woman, and yet the future looks so bleak with everything going on I find it hard to create a vision worth pursuing. It's become so difficult to get out of bed and do my duties as a young man. I feel like western civilization is collapsing right in front of me... I am so lost. Thank you Fr. for all the videos.

weeping is our Suffering on earth, but Jesus gifts us Hope, we are all Human. it is OK to weep. just don't stay down the Rabbit Hole... Jesus & Mary save us.

My spiritual father, Padre Pio! His feast day is on the 23rd of this month. We will be praying his novena as a family in the lead up to it and we always have a party on the 23rd in his honor. Pray for our priest, I know most of them suffer for their children, as we suffer for our loved ones. We are gathering together next to our Mother at the foot of the Holy Cross, under the sorrowful but loving eyes of Jesus.

Thank you from Australia we are going thru terrible times. We must keep on praying harder than ever. Mass Rosary really does help. Thru our Lady Mary a 3 year old non verbal autistic boy miraculously found after 3 cold days in the bush after his mother had prayed in a monestry. And many others prayed. Young Anthony named after Saint Anthony like his dad's name went to hospital briefly then straight back home. Just some ant bites found in a creek drinking water. Praise God.

"Send Me Your Gaurdian Angel" is a really good book about Padre Pios abilities with the Angels. I feared confession and after I studied Padre I feared it more, because I wasn't being honest with myself or the Lord. It weighed on my mind daily. I finally got up my courage to do a confession after 30 years of not practicing this sacrament. I'm working on it still. My point is for some of us for whatever reasons we go to confession fooling ourselves. We are not fooling God. Your gaurdian Angel will guide you and if you still struggle....send your Guardian Angel to St Padre Pio. All of Heaven wants to help you attain the glory. Be true to you and God.
