As a long time fan of Chuck Grodin's comic sensibility but having no sense of what he might be like off camera it's nice to learn of his private act of kindness here.

one of my and my father's favourite guests. I so loved hearing my dad laughing his ass off at his dry dry humour. Bob Einstein was also a fav of ours. explains a lot about my humour today...which a lot don't get 😂

Charles Grodin explains in an interview that he found that just being himself and answering questions wasn’t very entertaining, so he decided to adopt the persona we see on talk shows (dry, always slightly offended, etc), because, basically, it was funny. (Which it was, imo - )

I remember the Prince episode. Back then, it wasn't so well known that he was a funny guy who would gladly go along with something silly like that. Clearly, as we would later learn, he drew the line at having his name/symbol made fun of.

Caisse you've had such cool jobs and worked with real icons. I really admire your career. Also - I had heard somewhere that Charles Grodin was difficult and I'm glad to hear your version. Plus I remember the Harrison Ford bit, I used to have such a crush and thought you were so lucky. Anyway...See you on Insta or the podcast. This is a fun channel. Always happy to see more Dave.

@chadchristian1728

@@markstevens1729 I don't need to be there to see what kind of person a public figure is. Actions and words speak of character. Besides, people close to him have spoken on how vain and narcissistic ole Warren is. Narcissistic people are not good people. Not to say it is entirely their fault. But vanity and narcissism is a cancer to humanity. It will destroy us if we let it. So pointing out narcissistic behavior and other things of the same nature is of the best interest of hum@nity as a whole. We need to stop worshipping these false idols in Hollywood.
