After using the product for the a few months now, I can say overall construction held up fine. This little stationary elliptical gives me a better workout than any other ellipticals I used both big and small. I got quite a workout in the beginning, drenched my t-shirt and all. Then my body got healthier and I don't sweat as much now. I still use it everyday. If you're in a situation where you can't go out (or try to stay safe and health), this is a good alternative. As for the losing weight part, I think it all depends how your body responds. I find I can shed weight if I combine exercise and below 2000 calories intake; however, everyone is a little different Thank you for spending your time on watching my review. I do hear the squeaking from time to time, and as I continue peddling, it would eventually go away. Since purchase, I have not done any maintenance except for taking a kitchen wipe to wipe it down from time to time.
