This short video was filmed in 1983, when a group of karateka, consisting of various grades and ages, trained in Stan Schmidt Sensei’s private dojo at his house in Johannesburg.
After an intense hour indoors, we moved outside where after one conditioning exercise, we concentrated on five of the body dynamics, vibration, shifting, rotation, rising and dropping as our source to produce the power in our techniques.
Each combination featured multiple body dynamic movements, however our training placed emphasis on one specific dynamic movement at a time.
