That moment when the unmastered version is better than the mastered version

Right !
@theactualtruth49513 жыл бұрын
@@DJ-EFKA I could tell by his face that he knew it sounded worse, but he had to play along cause he was filming. Like how is this a high quality mastering rig if it's making the songs sound worse? Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. It's like it took the life out of the song, removed a lot of the transients, and made it sound congested.

Fab, you rok dude, you put track the vocal for this video through a niceass compressors gate? I can hear it ont the two song tracks you demo'd here hahahaha a true engineer. Hey btw, you usually shout out the band and song you use in your demos which you forgot to do this time. And this time they were actually really really good, like I want to know who they are so I can become a legit fan. U didnt let us know that band at 1:19 (also first time I seen you bop yer head brother hahaha!) I shazamed my can for everyone else, it's WILL KNOX "BULLETS" --- big ups

Hi, So what's the differences between an analog summing mixer and a transfer console? Thanks man
@dangerousmusic7 жыл бұрын
Hey Joshua, Probably best to contact us directly for a detailed answer. Analog summing is combining multiple tracks of audio into a stereo mix, and master transfer console is used to insert gear, accept different inputs, feed different outputs, it's the central piece to a mastering studio used for processing a stereo mix in the analog domain.

Why use dangerous. Why not just use a patch panel and feed out and in on a channel of you convertor pure 2 Apollo 8xp etc ?
@dangerousmusic2 жыл бұрын
Hi James, your question could be answered in many ways depending on your workflow and current gear setup. LIAISON gives engineers tremendous flexibility with routing, positioning and blending analog gear in your tracking, mixing and/or mastering chains with no patching. Feel free to hit us up via phone or email to discuss your specific rig and workflow to learn more and check out the breakdown here - www.dangerousmusic.com/product/liaison

I think that's borderline arrogant to assume a professional is above a product walk-through (not to mention mixing tips from an awesome mix engineer). It's a great quick tutorial for the Dangerous 2bus and transfer consoles and just what I was looking for.
@atta17986 жыл бұрын
Well, let me see.....Actually Fab is perfect and besides being clear, as a result the audience is much broader. it is an introduction of the product and its details and a Mastering listening technique. Now, I can teach you some serious Computer & Electrical Engineering unless I do the same he does, you would never understand me. Actually you would still not understand me....because you are less than a newbie in ECE. That is just simply a fact. Now, does that make you less than anybody else, NO but according to you YES and a MONKEY. I do not think so but you do. HAHAHAHA!!!! Last Gio, define PRO in this business.......really...Mastering Audio Engineering is new and not taught in schools from a technical point of view "FULLY: which requires a Artistic Technical Critical Thinking which you do not have.....for sure.....etc....which tells me you are a newbie that just know how to use some equipment......you want real pros?.......Bob Katz, Ludwig, George Marino....etc etc but not you. How do I know all this? A real Mastering Engineer is humble and keeps on learning at all times and it takes a life time.

$100k+ of gear in that studio and showing subtle differences that only a trained ear can distinguish. Free plugins or ones included in a daw makes more economic sense to me
