In this conversation Director Stanley Nelson, Valerie Scoon and Mike Muse discuss the making of the Hulu documentary Sound of the Police. Stanley Nelson discussed how between when they started the documentary and when they finished, police brutality was bound to happen. They also discussed the similarities between todays police slave patrol mindset and the mindset of long ago has not changed. As the conversation continues, they discussed the lack of police accountability and how songs about police brutality were used throughout the documentary.
