Sir thanks for these videos... These are very useful to me and others also. I had question... How much load current carried by each cable in Star-delta starter. Means we use 6 Cores or 2 Cables. That means load current should be reduce on each cable.

In DOL you can only measure line values. To get phase use the equations specified.

Do that in practical. Use a clamp miter when start motor in star connection and when motor run in delta connection which is taking more current. 🤔

Sir🙏..ek blower ki motor 11-kw,22-fla,2900-rpm hai, Jab blower pehle chatatha toh 17.5 ampere le raha tha415v me,damper 30% open karke,likin ab motor maintainace karke no load test kiye toh 8.6amps leraha hai.likin jab blower ke sath lagaya toh 21.1 amps tino phase me leraha hai jo ki voltage tha 405volt aur voltage Ko bhi badhaya 440 tak likin curent abhi 21.2 amps le raha hai aur neya impeller Chenge kiya gaya, motor bilkul smooth running hai. iske Karan kya hai please bataiye jyada load kyun le Raha hai,aur 1,2 ghanta chalneke baad OL.trip....

Make sure that percentage opening of damper. Reduce the opening to make the motor draw less current.

Another possibility is that If the impeller was replaced check the weightage of impeller between old and new one.

The ans is we connect star first becz star takes less current so to prevent the internal circuit from the high amount of current we connect star.

Hello sir Meri company me 40 hp ki motor hai, usko vfd pe run krta hu Agr 40×1.5=60amp Lekin no load condition me vo motor 15.8 amp le rahi hai to 15.8 kaise aya vo muje bataye( delta connection )

@swapnil patil , No load current of induction motor is 40% to 60% of full load current.so 40% of 60Amp would be something around 16Amp. In star motor No load current is 10% or 20% and delta 30% or 40%of full load current.

भाई मेरे पास 20hp मोटर है बिना लोड के वो 10-11 Amp. लेती है ओर 1kw यूनिट आता है 1 घण्टे में लेकिन अगर उसको 15 Amp. लोड पर चलाये तो 7-8 kw यूनिट आता हैं 1 घण्टे में ऐसा क्यों....?
