Millicente replicas are not as special as the real props. I would do anything to have Luke/Anakin's lightsaber hilt. The original one they made for A New Hope was made out of vintage camera parts, car parts, even Obi-Wan's original lightsaber from A New Hope had a WW1 British rifle grenade as the grip.

It's called a Graflex flash gun. You can buy authentic vintage Graflexs and exact replica parts like the switch box, buttons, circuit board card, etc...and you can make your own version that would be a perfect 1 to 1 copy of the original prop...with the only exception being that it wasn't used on set. Other than that, it would be every bit as authentic. I know, because I've done it. I've also gotten FX sabers commissioned and made for me, some even with very elaborate and intricate faux crystal chambers. They are very expensive, but very much worth it if you enjoy lightsabers as they are the closest thing you can get to actually owning a real functioning lightsaber. I have quite the collection now. I have 3 Graflex hilts. All in slightly different variations. The Episode 4 version, the Episode 5 version and Anakin's version from Episode 3. I have both Return of the Jedi Luke saber designs, the "hero" version and the one he used for combat scenes in the film. I've got Obiwans episode 1 and episode 3/4 hilts. It's quite the hobby for me.

Star Wars is what's gotten me into acting. And they are casting for a supporting character role for episode 8 very soon

+This is the most magical username you'll ever come across and every time you see it you grow wiser it helps to have an agent when trying to get any speaking roles but the page that I follow on Facebook and go through often for work is called Project Casting. They also have a website that's easier to use. They said they would post something for the roles when they start to cast the ones they heard about but with it being so big and probably in London I'm not sure. That website is mostly for background work though. They do post principle stuff sometimes but rarely since they usually go through agents more.

If I remember properly the article they posted said in early January is when the call will be sent out, but the movie also starts filming in January. Also finding an agent isn't as easy as finding a good Plummer. Most you need professional quality head shots, resume/demo reels, and to sit down in an interview and that's if they think you're a good look that they can sell. That's not also not mentioning the scams you'll probably run into. (If any agency already eats payment upfront or for you to spend money on head shots and stuff expect it to be a scam and walk away agents make money when you make money. You could also look into what agency is doing the casting for the movie and if they have any websites they may post their own calls. Most big projects are under a code name so they don't get people that just want to sell pictures getting in the way.
