Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a 2019 action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The story is set in the Star Wars universe, five years after Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. It follows Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who becomes a target of the Galactic Empire and is hunted throughout the galaxy by the Imperial Inquisitors while attempting to complete his training, reconcile with his troubled past, and rebuild the fallen Jedi Order. The player can use Kestis' lightsaber and Force powers to defeat enemies, including stormtroopers, wild beasts and bounty hunters. The game adopts a Metroidvania style of level design where new areas are accessed as Cal unlocks skills and abilities.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. A sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019), the game takes place five years after the ending of the first and continues the adventure of young Jedi Knight, Cal Kestis, as he and his friends continue in their struggle to survive the tyranny of the Galactic Empire

This limited run is pretty cool. Just wish Disney’s hilts a bit slimmer. I know, I know. Old critique.

I like the easy equip and interchangeable blade. But I second that with the hilt because of the blade size 😅

But it's correct. Their hilts are big and chunky and use electronics we've had in Force FX sabers for like 20 years. Leaves a lot to be desired especially if you've ever used a neopixel saber with a nice soundboard.

Awesome. Wish to see one including Eno Cordova's sleeve. In Bogano, once you gain access to Abandoned Workshop, Cal adds Cordova's sleeve to his lightsaber.

Maybe you can use the pommel pieces from the Savi's Workshop sabers to make the double saber look real. Overall, the saber looks incredible.

Wow that's cool yet complicated I think I would just go for the regular cal kestis lightsaber from the beginning of the game star wars fallen order because it's cheaper and much easier to enjoy and I agree that the different colors should have different sounds I have ahsoka's lightsabers from the clone wars and their awesome and very light wight and as you already know the colors do have different sounds so I understand you negativity about this new cal kestis lightsaber, I enjoy watching your videos sir James

I really was bummed when it didn’t change sounds either. The Ahsoka Hilts do change sound fonts so this one not doing it is weird tbh

I’ll bet some people snapped their speaker off because the opposite saber is so heavy and people are “bending” then separating instead of pulling it apart. I have a feeling that’s what happened with Finding the Forces hilt.

That’s a cool-looking lightsaber, but one negative I noticed is that during that part of the Fallen Order game where you choose the crystal color you want, magenta (or pink) was an option in the game, and I didn’t notice that one when you were going through the color changes.

as mentioned the blades from SWGE are not programed with any other color outside what they sell as kyber crystals :)

It's because those aren't available colors at galaxy's edge. Orange, teal, and indigo are also absent

I’m a Dark Side kinda guy…I’ve saved myself thousands on all these limited edition releases, since they’ve only catered them to Jedis and the Light Side. This Cal Kestis, the Obi Wan box, the Luke/ Leia box, the Ashoka Tano box, Obi and Anakin box and the Jedi Temple Guard set box. Honestly, I’ve heard many issues with this Cal Kestis. Shame really. Seems like three releases makes Cal Kestis and Ashoka Tano the biggest money grabs in the universe. Great review though!

I do have both Darth Mauls to create the staff, however they weren’t limited edition. Also have the Maul Shadow Collective that I just received for 30% off and do plan to switch it out with one end of the Darth Maul OG staff at times, also have Vader’s LS and Darth Tyrannus curved hilt saber. No…I do not have Kylo Ren’s cross guard LS…because it’s ugly as Hell and the cross guard blades make it look so cheesy and phony. However I will more than probably pick up Darth Sidious’ LS this year when down in FL in July.

0:35 THANK YOU! You won't believe how many people claim it's the version from Survivor just because it came in a High Republic colored box. Talking to these people I noticed some of them had no clue a double bladed lightsaber for Cal was a thing in Fallen Order because they never actually played the game or watched any gameplay footage, just trailers. But even then, one should think people can't be THAT blind... Thank you for always pointing out the details that so many others just don't get for some reason!❤

Watching this, I actually realized. I would bet money the sounds don’t change when you switch colors, is because it’s a saberstaff that disconnects. It would sound really gross if you had two differently colored blades with their mismatched noises playing at the same time

Artsabers is very cool for sure, I bought the Darth Vader xenopixal and I love it! I did have a slight issue when I got it, the chassis didn’t line up in the hilt, I had to take it apart and line it up manually but after that it been amazing! Also customer service for Artsabers is on point, they answered all my questions and made sure I was 100% happy.

@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion I can’t imagine it would’ve been more than an additional $100. The Ahsoka Tano Rebels box set wasn’t more than $400 (if I’m not misremembering), and honestly, it’s a superior set, in my opinion.
