Ahh i like that perspective. My prediction is if/when they make a third Jedi game everything you just said is gonna play into a final showdown between Cal and Vader and we’ll really see that contrast between Cal and Anakin

Yeah that paranoia of falling into emotion was the Jedi Order’s major problem. Some Jedi maybe able to do that but not all and noncompliance leads to shame from the Order which is dumb. I feel like wherever the Jedi are taken next, it should be one where succumbing to anger and the dark side is not entirely a bad thing

No the dark side is always a danger for the jedi. Cal didn't try to supress his emotions yet he felt the temptation of the dark side anyway. He only let go because of Merrin. If not for her he would have killed that imperial officer in cold blood. She tells him to talk to her if he ever feels the lure of the dark side again. She speaks like it is an addition, and it is.

Luke’s attachment and emotion for his friends and family was why he was able to beat Vader and resist Palpatine’s manipulation. It’s also why Anakin overcame the Dark Side and saved Luke and helped free the Galaxy.

Absolutely, realistically Bode could’ve shared Tanalor with the others but he was so afraid of his daughter being harmed (understandably) that he couldn’t even do that

Dagan Gera and Bode are both mirrors to Cal. Dagan was betrayed by the council, and resented them. His loss of tanalor consumed him. Bode was betrayed by the republic, and the one person he attached to was murdered because of him. He became obsessed with protecting his daughter (family). Cal is betrayed and alone, but what sets him apart, and I know it's cliche, is the power of friendship.

@@kingkagegaming Thank you. I think so too. I took so much damage to the "grab - bomb" attack when I fought him. I was honestly doing a live stream on Twitch of it and it was just before bedtime - after the 3rd death - which was past midnight - I decided to end it there lol. However I love Tanalorr so much! I wish they gave us more to see of it before facing Bode. Kata is such a sweethear of a child. Too bad she had to experience a dad like Bode. I must say the game overall is excellent in many ways and probably the best Star Wars game since KOTOR (I completely loved Fallen Order and was hyped for its sequel).

Honestly this fight took me like 3 tries I just edited it into one so I definitely get where you’re coming from lol. The best advice I can give is don’t rush it, take that one hit you can and don’t get greedy. He’s pretty quick and has long and short range from what I remember so it’s best to just play it as safe as possible Also don’t go too crazy with the dark side, from my experience that’s a good way to get baited in. It might take awhile but I’d say just be extra safe, take the hit you can get in and then back off until the next opening

Using darkside was actually quite hard, I could barely make out the outline when he goes for the unblockable attacks. I found the best stances for him were the single saber and blaster stances (used the blaster when Merrin would grab him). Cross guard was much too slow and as he mentioned it’s not worth trying to go for the extra couple hits so there goes dual.

Also for his his move with the bombs, I pulled him into it. Be careful though cause he comes flying forward like the purge troopers so let the bombs run their timer down before you do that. His other move where sets down the electrocharge and spins his lightsaber towards you, you can pick up the charge and throw it back at him.

Have the perks that increases your block stamina and increases block stamina damage on enemies. I also use the perk that increases lightsaber damage but also increases damage to you. Sure you take more damage but it is worth it. The lightsaber throw damage perk is also good and is complemented by the other perks. As for weapons I always use the single bladed lightsaber for bosses. It is in my opinion the overall best weapon because it can do everything well. I has good damage per swing, it's relatively fast and good defense. But the best part is its force abilities. Jump slash, perfect after an unblockable. Dash strike, great when you need to get closer fast (his block stamina is low). Always parry his normal moves and dash the unblockables. Another tip is to lift him with power lift. Then you can supercharge your lightsaber throw and do alot of damage. I beat him in one try with this on jedi master.

Bode was a tough cookie, he was the only boss who ever managed to kill me. I died once to him before managing to beat him. The only other boss I ever struggled with was that giant toad thing. Even the rancour I managed without dying thanks to a tip I found out about with Force pushing a bone into its mouth which stuns is briefly to do good damage to it. But you can only do it once but it still gives you a good lead in damage on him. I also always dawned the yellow crystal most the game as well as the orange. The orange overall is my favorite though with yellow being secondary. I also feel like Cal would be a orange or yellow lightsaber user. It suits him. I also went with duel wielding and double sided build.

@@shannonmichael4773 Yea the dual wield/double side was mainly what I used before this too, I wish I could’ve gotten the hang of the crossguard but it wasn’t quite for me lol. And yea Bode was easily the hardest fight, Cere’s fight against Vader wasn’t that hard for me😂

i just beat this fight and i used charged force lift, force push, and force pull successfully. Force slam staggers but isn't very useful. You have to have them upgraded with the "works on stronger enemies" abilities
