I continue to appreciate how you guys are extremely knowledgeable about Star Wars while still focusing almost exclusively on the things you love about it rather than sowing more hate, despite how much easier it would be, how much more profitable it could be. Without Star Wars creators like yall, being a fan that actually enjoys Star Wars was actually kind of insufferable because of how the loudest voices behave.

@@inline885 what's your point? There's lots of ways to make a living. Choosing to be an outrage farmer and going out of your way to worsen a community is not a reasonable way to make a living. It's pretty shitty and selfish.

@@KaliahSheDevil my point is look at creators like the people on Collider Jedi Council. They got popular and thought they mattered in the lead up to and release of the Force Awakens. Then they changed their tune when the Last Jedi and Galaxy’s Edge debuted and no they’re back to being nobody. These two have learned to never bite the hand that feeds them no matter the quality of the product.

Why am I not hearing any big news about a 2027 movie? Shouldn't that be the big 50th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise? I feel like that deserves something really special!

Yeah! Strange we haven't heard anything about that yet. My prediction...Perhaps that's the year The New Jedi Order comes out? Or Rogue Squadron finally? It'd make sense to give us something connected to the main films for the 50th Anniversary.

I think they're (rightfully) apprehensive about announcing a movie until they have people on the ground filming giving how many have fallen apart or been moved during pre-production. I do think that either Dawn of the Jedi or New Jedi Order makes the most sense thematically for a 50th anniversary.

Q&A: Since we had three episodes left in The Bad Batch's Series Finale (technically two when you recorded next week's Q&A), what is your final prediction on what we might possibly going to see in the Mount Tantiss Rescue in the Finale? (Like Ventress helps the Bad Batch rescue Omega, Omega meets Palpatine face to face for first time, Clone Assassin reveals to be Cody or Tech, Dr. Hemlock's Redemption & Fate, etc.)

The TK troopers are stormtrooper. TK trooper is just another name and it was used early on to distinguish the conscripted humans from the CTs because they all fell under the stormtrooper term. Once most of the clones wear phased out and the second generation of troops got the final armour design they didn't need to distinguish them. They also gave the remaining and last batch of clones TK designations replacing the CT one.

Just toclarify that Solo was 4 weeks after Avengers 3, as opposed to Mando & Grogu which is only 3 weeks after Avengers 5, assuming both keep their current dates. Solo had a lot of different things that affected its performance not just the proximity to an Avengers movie: like you said the budget was huge, there was negativity about the movie (both who-asked-for-this and the behind-the-scenes drama). And of course the shadow of TLJ.

Han Solo was the most popular character from the original films. In fact it made Harrison Ford a very big star. The main issue with Solo was someone else was playing the role. Plus his backstory should have remained a mystery

I think the reason behind them doing a Mandalorian movie first is that they know more people will gravitate towards seeing it due to its success on Disney Plus. If it does indeed go well, then I reckon Disney and the audience will have more faith in future projects.

It's more to do with the fact that they know they could make it quickly whereas Rey's movie could be delayed unexpectedly. Due to the economic downturn they need movies that make money no matter how little or big of a profit.

the "gray" clones are obviously the proto TK troopers like the ones that crosshair led???? Right after Crosshair first betrayed the bad batch he was given command of a squad of conscripted troopers outfitted with BLACK clone armor. Thats what these are

Avatar 3 is coming out in December 2025. They're trading off years that Star Wars movies come out and years Avatar movies come out. Mando & Grogu in May 2026, Untitled SW film in Dec 2026 (probably the New Jedi Order film), and Untitled SW film in Dec 2027. Avatar 4 is set for Dec 2029 and Avatar 5 for 2031. So maybe we get Mangold's film in 2027 and maybe they slot Filoni's movie in Dec 2028.

My hype/interest in the MCU, not entirely sure why - maybe the oversatuation of Marvel content played a factor, Star Wars especially since lockdown has completely captured my interests and MCU has taken a backseat fully
