Lucifer well let me explain hah. Kaminoans where the ones who I think invented cloning or were the race who mastered cloning to almost perfection like no other species or organisations. And Sifo Dyas was a friend of Dooku they met when both of them were younglings and Plagueis manipulated Sifo Dyas into ordering the clone army. Sifo Dyas did so because he was scared that the republic will crumble and massive war will soon begin. But Plagueis wanted and gave tho credits for the army because he wanted to wipe out the jedi order. A year later Count dooku was a sith lord or just signed out of the order. And also all of the force cloning was invented by Kaminoans

There´s similar plot in Finnish black metal band Barathrum´s song "Last Day In Heaven" in which the lyrics begin about thus: "one hundred of Satan´s angels, SOMEHOW they lost to the Heaven"... and so on. I bet that song´s lyrics were written in an intoxicated state. The song itself is quite groovy.

@@Deuteromis Part of what I liked about 9 was that, A: It was almost a direct port of 'Dark Empire' (Things were changed, seeing as how Luke was dead he obviously couldn't become Palpatine's apprentice), and B: I think it tied up everything nicely. But then, I've also been keeping track of the Canon, so I can see that, everyone else thinks there's plot holes throughout it because they never understood how Star Wars works. But 7 as a replay of A New Hope didn't work for me, and 8 was a full on remake of The Empire Strikes Back, except unlike the Rebels, the Resistance actually came out with a few victories amidst getting their asses kicked.

@@zajdelasophie1136 Agreed, world building is one of the prequel trilogy's only saving graces. It actually sets up an interesting galactic scale setting with virtually infinite possibilities for story telling, which allows for something like a 7 season series about the clone wars that never feels tired. The sequel trilogy has NO world building whatsoever. Everything feels entirely arbitrary and as though not an ounce of thought went into why anything is happening other than the already nonsensical plot.

It’s actually insane that some sequel fans defend the movies by saying: “omg you’re so stupid if you didn’t understand the plot! Those are the kinds of requirements that are fine for a niche story, like a visual novel or, say, the Kingdom Hearts series. Something that's not for everyone, and it's expected that the relatively small number of people it resonates with and who are invested in it are willing to go out of their way to gather up all the bits and pieces from side-stories and art-books and the like as "part of the experience". While Star Wars does have such hard core fans as well, it is also a pop-culture defining modern epic with the main trilogies as its core, and before the sequels, watching just them was still enough to gather all the essential information about the world and characters without the need for external sources. This makes the recent "just read the books/side stories/comics for details" approach increasingly intolerable with every main installment, and the fact that at the end of the trilogy we still don't know the origins, size, might, or influence level of The First Order, who are the main bad guys of the sequels, absolutely mind-boggling.

The New Republic chain of command, as well as Luke would realize that "Hey, this all started because nobody knew who the Sith were and thus we had no kind of early warning system to detect them, let's NOT keep this a super secret this time!" "(hell why would C3PO even have the ability to translate the Sith language?)." C-3PO is fluent in over SIX MILLION forms of communication. I cannot stress enough how absurdly high that number is. A Star Wars RPG once compiled a list of pretty much every alien in Star Wars at the time of Revenge of the Sith, and have stats for them as potential playable characters. That list included around 200 species. Assuming EACH one of those species spoke 10,000 languages, it wouldn't even put a DENT in the number C-3PO understands. It's pretty apparent that some linguist or group of linguists catalogued literally every language in the known universe to create an ultimate translator, and that eventually found its way to Tatooine to end up in a scrap droid. "The freaking Jedi were considered a myth to most at this point in the setting and they were a major group only a few decades ago and beyond the jedi no-one even knew the Sith even existed for almost a millennia." The Jedi were considered a myth because Palpatine put out a constant stream of misinformation for close to 2 decades, and while Luke might be well known, a lot of people might not believe he was an actual Jedi. Meanwhile, in the New Republic itself, especially the Resistance which was led by a Jedi, that information would be common knowledge, as would Palpatine being a Sith. As a sidenote, Darth Vader was WIDELY known as "The Dark Lord of the Sith", long before the Prequels explained what a Sith actually was.

@TheKyrix82
@TheKyrix82 4 жыл бұрын
@@defourruben "ok why do ships fall back when flying in space? " And what do you mean 'fall back?'. How do they retreat? Because they were seen doing that in the original trilogy. I'm going to assume you mean how the bombers fell when fighting the dreadnaught. That goes down to one simple thing: Space in Star Wars doesn't operate like actual space. X-Wings, TIE Fighters, and the Milennium Falcon should not be able to perform the maneuvers they do without visible thrusts firing off every angle of the ship. Instead, they move like fighter jets in atmosphere even though that's impossible, because this is a space opera and not a science fiction, so 'looks cool' wins out over 'actually possible'. Also, why do TIE fighters make noise in space? This isn't just a thing for the audience, by the way, they are pointed out in canon sources to actually be audible in space. Specifically in 'The Princess, The Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy', Luke HEARS TIE fighters before he sees them multiple times. So in Star Wars, space works the same as a planet's atmosphere. "How do bombs fall in space? " See the above answer. "How can you use hyperspace travel as a weapon? " Normally, you don't, as there are multiple factors preventing it from working. Things like the mass of the vessel performing the attack, the mass of the vessel taking the attack, The fact that once you reach a certain velocity you slip into another dimension, and the fact that hyperspace-cancelling Interdictor Cruisers exist. The only vessels the rebels have access to big enough to use as a hyperspace bullet are Mon Calamari Star Cruisers, which are in short supply, and are wasted as bullets when they're the one thing that actually CAN fight a Star Destroyer. The reason the Radus was a 'one in a million' shot is because there were no Interdictors present to halt the hyperspeed, the Radus actually WAS massive enough to cause damage, and Holdo timed the jump so that the ships intersected at the point of highest velocity BEFORE the dimensional slip occured. Also, it wasnt enough to DESTROY the Supremacy, just cripple it, most of the damage to the rest of the fleet was done by the shrapnel of the Supremacy. "Why can a single fighter destroy a dreadnought class ship? " Why can a single fighter destroy a planet destroying superweapon? Then the bigger, more powerful version of that superweapon? Then the much bigger, much more powerful version of the bigger and more powerful version of that superweapon? And the droid control ship? I mean, it's not like Star Wars has a history of doing this or anything...and the answer to that question is shown in the fucking movie. Poe took out all the point defense weaponry, and let the bomber drop its payload onto it. I used to think the entire concept of the MG-100 StarFortress SF-17 was stupid when they could have used the much more versatile Y-Wing, until I looked up the ship's specs. A Y-wing carries 20 Proton Bombs. A Resistance Bomber carries 1.048. That is a LOT of bombs. And proton bombs are shown to be absurdly powerful. So how could a single fighter destroy a dreadnaught? It drops an absurd fuckload of bombs onto it. If you don't want to do the math, that's 52 Y-wings worth of bombs for EACH resistance bomber, with some bombs left over. that's almost 5 12-ship squadrons each. That's more firepower than they sent out at the first Death Star, and that's just ONE resistance bomber. So yeah, turns out technical data actually makes things make a lot more sense. The research on that one shut up my own complaint. "I could go on for a few hours. " Please do, still waiting for a plot hole that isn't also a plot hole in the rest of the series, like how space works "BTW only use canon data to answer." Easy enough, nothing from legends at all.

@@TheKyrix82 That's true but there could have been ways to show Finn having a moral dilemma w/ killing stormtroopers, even if it was necessary. Some hesitation maybe - at least at first - to fighting in general, then when he does fight, he goes for nonlethal hits (arms, legs, incapacitating the enemy rather than killing them). It could have been an interesting point of conflict too, where someone Finn cares about gets hurt because he refuses to kill. Imagine the moral complexities of that, especially for a person who would do almost anything for his friends. The last part of his arc could have been him freeing the rest of the stormtroopers. Imagine if the war was won because all the stormtroopers simply refused to fight. They're people who are disgusted by his cowardess, weakness, and treason, and they won't hesitate to shoot him. Now if he found a trooper that hesitated, that's one thing. But he knows better than anyone the indoctrination they all went through, and he knows he's the exception, not the rule. He should no more hesitate a stormtrooper on the chance that he'll turn good than Luke should've hesitated taking the shot that destroyed the Death Star on the hopes that the gunner wouldn't fire (and in Legends, that WAS the case. Funny thing about the force on the ship thing: in legends, this guy called Dorsk 81 (he’s the 81st clone of this dude named Dorsk) was one of Luke’s apprentices, and he force pushes 17 star destroyers out of a planets orbit. Now, this drained all of his energy and killed him but, I’m just saying this isn’t the first time it’s happened.

There was also the circumstance that he was sitting atop a pyramid constructed with the express purpose of channeling and boosting the Force, and was acting as the focal point for his entire class's efforts. Ah yes, Force lightning is so easy to tap into that the only character that was able to use it back in the day was Palpatine, the literal ultimate bad guy, who was easily believed to be an incredible force user. What did we know about the force before Palps showed off? That it made your instincts sharper, enhanced physical abilities a bit (Luke using force jump against Vader and stuff), could influence weak minds and could pull things around. At best, force choking is nothing but an extrapolation of the force pull and Luke was already able to force pull at the beginning of episode 5 so while it is... Worth noting that Luke could force choke in episode 6, it's not that unbelievable compared to an ability that only the final boss could use, and even in the prequels only him, his old apprentice Dooku and Yoda could pull off, with all of them being old and proficient masters of the force. So no, force lightning and force choking is not comparable at all, and Rey using force lightning is unbelievable because she never endured the decades of training we can assume it takes to learn (even funnier, she never uses it again sooo yeah, that's a bad setup without any pay off other than "oh no I'm bad" I guess)

I love how in the Thrawn trilogy books one of the biggest plot points is the race for the Empire and the New Republic to find the "Katana Fleet", a lost fleet of star destroyers that were fitted with Slave Drives so they could be effectively piloted with a skeleton crew to eliminate the need for hundreds of thousands of troops. In this movie Palpatine has a fleet of star destroyers cause he has a fleet of star destroyers and he can effectively pilot them cause he has as many men as he needs to. Boy I bet they regret removing Legends from canon.

Legends already had a powerful Imperial remnant state lead by a non-Sith Dark Jedi by the name of Empire Reborn, lead by supreme prosecutor Hethrir.
