(which is portrayed in games, books and comics) i know that there is the old republic timeline, which pretty much covers everything from 5k before battle yavin, to 1 bby. that there is the era of the the downfall of the old republic, which covers pretty much everything from 90 bby to 1 bby. there are eps 1 - 3 and the clonewars series, and the new 'rebels' series. that there is the era of rebellion (which is pretty much portrayed by the movies eps 4 to 6) then we have the era of the new republic, which begins 5 aby, and where leia and co are some highranking embassadors and other funky ranks in the new republic. and we have the time of the new jedi order, from about 25 aby. i don't know if i like the yuuzhan-vong that much, but hey, they are extragalactic villains and somehow everyone who opposed the New Republic got screwed by them. oh i almost forgot my favorite villain - you know that chiss guy, on his star destroyer chimera - the good old thrawn. damn how i love that charakter. shall i go on? please try to read to whom that sentence was adressed (hint, it was not you), before thinking that someone is dumber than you, or you are kind of super smart- coz you aren't.

It happened. A guy auditioned as a "casually dressed" performer and didn't get selected. So he showed up with a childrens saber, one would buy at a hobby shop or something. Got into action when everybody froze, was hitting them while they were froze. The production crew was. Not. Amused. At all. At all. He probably didn't work on any jobs in the city for a while. They were up. Set.

I have done events where these guys show up at like conventions and that actually has happen. They let them join in for the freeze mob and photos but not the actual Full speed combat demos. The person in the Darth magus is DRAGON from renegadeeffects.com In case you needed to know who these folks are ;) The guy fighting him is Chad Volpe he is in a band in LA or something ;) I tease but I dig that guy

I miss the original SWTOR game. First expansion wasn't bad either. After that I felt like they just made everything too easy. They went down the path of WoW - *too many* "Quality of Life" updates, not enough challenge.

I will always love dreaming about Star Wars.

It was not about dueling, it was about a message, which they actually sent quite well...trust me if EA wanted to buy hard grade sabers they wouldeve done it and do a lot of stuff, so now you can actually stop being such a fucking tool.

This was actually for the game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, not the movie. The bald sith was a character from there, Darth Malgus.

He cited families that go on vacations, and visit beautiful sites, with the bulky camcorder in front of one eye, for being so fixated on preserving it. He stressed that we should enjoy the moment, and not miss it by being so caught up with preserving it. The irony is pretty extreme, with that concept. Yea I agree with you.. They should have taken more chances, done something new. Using that old combat system that All MMOs have was such a bad idea. They should have gone with something similar to ESO combat system, that would have been awesome.

SuperPig That would have been so awesome! I think the game has a lot of potential but this kind of combat system feels so old. I mean I have like 10 different abilities for force lightning, and taking down a droid with a lightsaber takes forever.

dude the game is very good srsly ... you are all used to WOW that is why u can't play something else... this game is one of the best MMo and i know it will grow even more after the release of the episode VII.U have 2 choises : pay and play it at full or not and play it bad..

Mtvbella It's because most ppl come from WoW that it is bad... The age of the "WoW MMORPG mechanics are over". That's why SWTOR isn't as good as it could be, cus it's to similar to WoW in the combat mechanics. I play ESO atm and compared to that game, SWTOR feels like it was made 10 years ago. I love star wars, which is why it makes me sad that SWTOR didn't reach any of my expectations.

***** Personally I like it. Mostly cause I'm a lore nerd and love having a interactive MMORPG Story, especially hearing my character's evil sith voice >:) and the giant ships you can buy for guilds is amazing! It's great for RPers.
