I have a throey that Spotty is only attreacted to cats with a lot of floof to make-up for her own lack of floof. Wildfur, Dawnfrost, Peachpaw, Mistysnow. All those are cats with a lot of floof. The reason why she doesn't like Goldenpelt is because he lacks floof.

I adore Spottedshadow and Peachpaw's relationship, they don't feel like a mentor and apprentice, more like a couple of friends or a big sister with her younger sibling, really cute

I know most of the comments will be about the gathering and everything but I want to point out the animation in the credits. Goldenpelt is following Spottedshadow from a distance, enough so she can’t see or hear him behind her. He looks proud and determined, even if you can’t see his face. Spottedshadow looks almost defeated, tired and sad. She seems to be pondering about something, oblivious to anything Goldenpelt is doing. She doesn’t notice him closing in on her. We already know he is manipulating Spottedshadow, but this animation really shows it in a way that most people would overlook. Like it’s from Spottedshadow’s POV.

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT MOSSPAWS VOICE FITTING SO WELL WITH HER DESIGN.

The chemistry between Hawkstar and Elmstar is so cute. The fact that he is pained to see her so so distraught, and that although she rejects his sympathy, it's hard for her to push him away at the same time. This may be a stretch, but...is Elmstar the secret father of Sunfire?? Is his pained look more than just sympathy, but also heartbreak?? Just speculating. If their relationship is purely platonic, that is perfect too :)

Moonkitti’s voice for Rainstar is pure perfection. It’s the right amount of the “Oh. I did not expect that.” And amazingly annoying with the dialogue.

Man I love this and the voice acting, and I was simultaneously anticipating and was thrown off by Moonkitti voicing Rainstar

This is why I am proud to be apart of this fandom. Everything in this episode, from the large details to the diminutive, is put together so captivatingly. Kinda wish this had been a comic instead of an animated series, because then it would (presumably) take less time to make, as well as most likely put less stress on everyone working on it.

The ending credits of the silhouettes of Spottedshadow walking tiredly and Goldenpelt walking behind her gives me chills. And I love all the foreshadowing and set up. Like how eager Rainstar is to dismiss the deaths of two ShadowClan warriors as from a badger, how Dawnfrost and Wolfthorn look at eachother when they first see eachother at the gathering, with Wolfthorn watching Dawnfrost intently and Dawnfrost trying to ignore Wolfthorn. But after a few minutes, they look at eachother fondly. The fireflies casting the gathering in an orange light is just how I imagine gatherings to look light. "Beauty before age" Rainstar savage. Also all the leaders have visible scars except for Rainstar. Hazelstar and Elmstar have torn ears, and Hawkstar's scar is a bit obvious. But Rainstar is also scarred, it's just a little less visible especially to people who don't know about how Frozenpool treated her and Iceclaw(that's his name, right?)

I'm just going to be doing a POV of Spottedshadow from 2:10 to 3:01 and I honestly don't know what I am doing... The island were full a flickering fireflies, illuminating the shadows of cats. Spottedshadow stepped quickly onto the slippery tree that was a bridge to the island, scanning the crowd with Peachpaw beside her. She spotted some the cats whom she were searching for, wondering where Wildfur was. Perhaps Shadowclan were coming late this full moon. She shrugged it off, for now it was a blessing to be with her friends. "Dawnfrost! Thornheart!" Spottedshadow called out, happy to see the cream she-cat and brown tabby tom as she padded toward where they were sitting. "How have you been?" "It's been too long, Spottedshadow." Thornheart replied, his ears going back a bit. He exchanged a quick glance with Dawnfrost, the kind Spottedshadow knew had been drilled into almost every cat here: Don't reveal much information of your clan, anyone could plan an attack and use that knowledge against you. "We have been......." Thornheart paused. "Good." Dawnfrost gave a slight nod, and Spottedshadow suspected something had happened, but Dawnfrost changed the subject quickly. "Who's this, Spottedshadow?" Dawnfrost asked, amused. "Did Hazelstar give you another apprentice already?" She teased lightly. "He did!" Spottedshadow replied, smiling. "Peachpaw has been my apprentice for a few moons now. I would have told you sooner, but Hazelstar and Forestleaf have been keeping me from gatherings lately." She quickly changed the subject, knowing it would be awkward to discuss it in front of Peachpaw. "How are your apprentices?" She asked. "They both became warriors today." Thornheart said, pride glimmering in his eyes. "Larkwing and Aspenbreeze. We're so proud of them." Dawnfrost nodded, flicking her tail. "They will be strong warriors of Thunderclan." Dawnfrost mewed. Spottedshadow purred. "With you as mentors, what else could they be?" For a few moments, there were only the hubbub of voices as cats shared news and enjoyed the temporary peace. Spottedshadow wished she could just have this relative peace forever. Soon, pawsteps sounded, and the scent of Riverclan drifted over. AAAAAND.... CUT. Hope you liked reading this, I am sorry if this stuff is inaccurate. Heh....... my writing is horrible.

Wolfthorn is such a Chad

Okay, but like, why does Wolfthorn sound so perfect? Like- I'd trust him with my life? As well as Wildfur?? Was that intentional???

Up until this point I had completely forgotten that moonkitti was the villain and *my god* does she play that role well, overall loved the animation and the people that voice acted the characters, thank you for making today even better than I thought

I love how Spottedshadow and Wildfur leaned into each other smiling when they saw their apprentices playing. They were like "Aww look honey! Our children are getting along!"

Me : ah yes Rainstar the evil one she must have a deep voice Also me : *Wheezes when I hear Moonkitti*

Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the attention to detail with the characters? All the cats react to everything being said, even if it’s not directed at them, and you can easily tell how they feel about it. I learned so much about the characters just by seeing how they respond to things. Some of them are so subtle, like a sideways glance or a raised eyebrow but it just adds so much.

MY THOUGHTS: Peachpaw and Spottedshadow have a HELLA cute friendship Goldenpelt seems to be a grump! He should hang out with Jayfeather! Wildfur is baby. MOONKITTI AS RAINSTAR IS FRICKING FANTASTIC HOLY HECK!!!!! All the designs are epic!

Personally I love Rain star, not for the character or the clan, I just think that Moon kitty voicing another cat that resembles her avatar is just funny.

This is really well put together, the characters are all very expressive, and in twelve minutes it does a really great job introducing most of the main cast, hinting at their relationships with one another (such as the obvious strain between Wolfthorn and Dawnfrost, and the easy closeness between Spottedshadow and Peachpaw), and introducing conflict with Hawkstar's dire warning... and the reactions from the other leaders give us a pretty good glimpse of their personalities. (I like that Hazelstar is polite enough to acknowledge Hawkstar's warning, but can't quite resist throwing out a cocky dismissive comment of his own, whether from legitimate lack of concern or to make WindClan seem stronger. And Elmstar clearly wants to say something to comfort Hawkstar, but when she flinches away he respects her desire to be alone with her grief... and you can see a momentary flash of guilt from her at taking out her grief over her loss and anger at Rainstar and Hazelstar on him.) Kudos also goes to the voice actors, they all did really well. It's interesting to hear some of these familiar voices in such a different context, like Tom who is usually pretty boisterous playing someone so subdued and serious as Hazelstar. Moonkitti is absolutely devouring the scenery as Rainstar, and it fits the character spot on. I also really love the voices for Peachpaw and Forestleaf in particular. Peachpaw sounds young and sweet, and Forestleaf has the perfect mix of a beautiful and threatening. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this project! Sorry Working Partners is forcing you guys to have to retool it to avoid DMCA nonsense, but there is clearly a lot of pride and passion going into this, and I know you'll continue to make a fantastic product.

I absolutely love when Rainstar cuts in right after Elmstar asks if the odd scent he found on the border has anything to do with Hawkstars "eventful" day Absolutely perfect foreshadowing there, I just know she had something to do with that attack-

I can not express my adoration of this entire project, the characters are well thought out and have distinct personalities, designs NEVER fail to be SO GORGEOUS I just cannot even- it's all so perfect and is probably going to become one of the best things the fandom has ever seen

Moonkitti is not someone I would have expected to voice a leader, but somehow, it’s so annoyingly perfect and I love it.

I was watching this and I was like oh my goodness rainstar sounds so, hilarious for her character and then I realized it was moonkitti and now she just sounds like every sassy “I spoil” character and I can’t take rainstar seriously. On a different note, this was really well animated and I can’t wait to see more!

I love how when Redleaf is announced, Wolfthorn is looking at Dawnfrost with pity and sadness. Not anger, or hope. He feels awful she didn’t achieve her dream, not hopeful she will leave with him or angry it came out for nothing. I love Wolfthorn already.
