I truly hoped for Gumiho to go for mass Banshee around the ~ 20:00 min mark.... such a great finisher unit vs Zerg! ... nice 4 min later he does it 😅

This was amazing. The thinking behind this game by Gumi, just usig every unit that was always there, to create a new strategy... forcing the opponent to adapt in real time. Taking a game like this from one of the most versatil players like Dark, (poor those rigid players who takes the meta and play it like there is nothing more) just amazing.

This is an amazing game! Gumiho truly is one of the most entertaining players to watch! Sure, he made a couple of errors, but he still managed to overcome those! Awesome! I guess you could say that he left his opponent in the...Dark.

Okay, I get it now why the Hellbats for Han & Horner in Coop has the upgrade that makes the enemies panic when the Hellbats die. I think a Coop dev saw a game where it was used like this back then and immediately thought of adding it to the game.

i'm really happy about the ending :D also glad to see that you're switching it up with the thumbnails now.. you used to show the loser of the match with some sort of thumbnail-highlight every video (dunno if it was subconcious or intended decision)

Very creative. i really like this build with medivacs. If only terran had something like turret from campaign, it would address mech inability to secure many bases and make it more viable.

What an amazing game!

When I play mech lategame, I stack static defenses on my bases. And I mean STACK. My record was four planetaries at one base, and a single tank parked behind them, protected by a wall of missile turrets. The zerg on the other side sent several question marks in chat.

Gumi definitely my favorite SC2 player right now.

I wish mech would get a bit of buff so they can defend far bases a bit easier. Its fun to watch different strategies. Maybe buffing hellion and cyclone to get to father bases. Late game speed buff?

I say this in uthermal videos a lot. If your gonna play a more turtle up mech play style. Why are people not just abusing going for 1-2 ebays. Then rushing building armor+hi sec. This gives your home defense so much strength in the early/mid game allowing you to actually make moves. The second thing i don't quite understand is why people don't make more orbitals inside their main base and spread production closer to new bases. This way all your expansions can be planetaries. instead of one but 1-2 next to the one actually mining. This way its incredibly difficult to actually get in and do real economical damage without losing a ton of units in return. You can even reactor your first barracks instead of using it as a scout tool and build 1-2 casual bunkers and fill them with 6 marines while you either completely abandon them or slowly upgrade them off the 1 ebay in the background. I understand its more investment but people really underestimate the benefits because it seems "noob"

the value of air and bunkers can be quite significant... since a bunker.. forces a bile on it, rather than your tank that is 5 range behind it.. lets say.. so bunkers and tanks .. bunkers are cheap.. at 100 minerals.. and you can always unload. There is a bunker setup Iwanted ot try to see if it can bause something... its creating a circle of units.. that spins aorund in the bunekrs fomr unloading, and to teh front so al lthe units can fire, and swap to the lead bunker this way there is zero cool down on the next units.. fire since it hasn't fire, so you should say, for instance see a stream of marauder rockets coming out of one bunker, lol

Watch towers and planrtaries are a mech terrans best friend. WT alert you buying you a little bit of time and planetaries deal with little zerglings and zealots while aso buying enough time to get the big guns there to defend

So not only does Zerg have the easiest time expanding but they also have the most mobile armies. AND to top it off, they can reinforce the fastest. And Terran gets what? Really good defensive capability? Except you can’t defend more than 3 or 4 bases without spreading too thin so Zerg can just contain you while getting as many bases as they want. And the main way terrans beat zergs late game is by surviving a million waves until they’ve mined the whole map. But if you’re not on point for one wave or army mispositioned, it’s game over. It just seems like Zerg has way more advantages and way more opportunities to win. Am I wrong? Oh and I forgot about queens being op in the early game

Really i am wondering when terran will start doing ghost drops on infestors you can't control a med when it has units in it so it keeps them from being parsited if 3 ghost blanket your army your not going to have any energy to parsite thors
