@@Subjagator There is something important here. When a show is written, not every episode is written chronologically, and many are written at the same time. In those cases it is not a question of people not having read or followed along with the material, but often a question of two different contradictory things written at the same time, and it not being noticed. You can quite literally have like one of the first episodes of a season be one of the last that are written, although that is rare. Other times it is an issue of the background material being essentially far too large to actually consume. Even if I hired a million dollar director, I don't think I'd expect him to watch 130 hours of material, along with all the other supplementary material that would be required for that job.

Well I suppose there's stuff like Zero Dark Thirty, and all the media trying to find out what happened immediately after the Bin Laden raid. Some things we know simply because there was no way to hide it like the crashed stealth helicopter, the rest is mostly assumptions and guesses, and the accounts from possibly the seals that were there, admittedly there's only so many ways you can probably infiltrate a building and shoot every hostile in it. Not like they're able to phase through walls, then we wouldn't even know the raids happened. Could just have a spy walk through a wall, poison the target, and walk out or some such, make it appear like a heart attack. Well the one bit of info they released without too much fuss was a k-9 unit did participate. Not sure if it actually ended up doing anything but we already know they're very valuable to the military as bomb sniffers and such most of the time.

The secret mission they were talking about is paid off at the very end of the episode, through Mitchell's off-world surprise party, where they celebrate a landmark number of missions for the team. Aliens with Mimic devices and brain connections take over the SGC. stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Mimetic_imaging_device It was later noted in "Smoke and Mirrors" that those devices were kept secret even from the NID. As for "Jack is your daddy": Jack had a son once. He shot himself with Jacks weapon. So he was not going around carelessly adding more children to worry about. I am also not sure if that was before or after Jacks younger clone was created by Loki. Wich kind of means he already had a son, I guess?

WHAT EPISODE WERE THEY TALKING ABOUT?
@EtherealMaiden7 жыл бұрын
JOHN DENVER 1969 Its still not clear to me on their joke. But they met a man who was drafted and I think he was the father of Mitchell. But the part of Jack being his daddy was a joke I believe. The part where they talk about how Jack took an interest in his life was partly true cuz Jack bonded over the guy who was drafted. Kinda. Well all of SG-1 did but eh it's the best explanation I can come up with. If someone knows the truth please tell me.

Of course they are just joking but does Mitchel posses the ATA gene?

Yes, and his Gene is very strong too. The writers wanted him to be the lead in Atlantis but the actor Ben Browder was still filming Farscape: The Peacekeeper War, thus the character of John Sheppard was created and Cameron Mitchell joined SG-1 instead.
