Same, Yugioh feels just like home but Vanguard looks also pretty interesting and the cards look so beautiful.

@@ryaninquarantine899 each structure decks has the cards you want only at 1, so in order to run 3 of each card(max amount in yugioh), people buy 3 structure decks

@@ryaninquarantine899 even though someone answered you, there is another miner reason. Buying 3 of each structre deck is probably the best thing a beginner/ a budget player can do because it's the cheapest way to have a full deck with all the important cards of the deck at 3. Cuz you only get 1 of each card that the deck must use 3 of to be in its full potential

I play Yugioh, but the artwork blows me away on Vanguard. Picked up some Japanese boxes today at the local card shop, (I am primarily a collector), but the SP and RRR rarities blow me away! Started buying singles on eBay instead of Yugioh.

Premium hasn't gone down at all. What are you talking about? Or do you mean price?

Premium has gone down in certain clans. I’ve done a lot of prices dropped from the insane amount they were. Zeroth dragons are like 50-70 and when then first came out, they were 200 dollar cards.

OTT is really cerebral you have to remember a bunch of stuff

I mean... if you want a peak competitive salamangreat deck, you still need 3 Phantazmay at 80$ each and 2-3 impermenance going for 90$ each :P I do like that the overall card quality in them is going up, but if we're talking about getting new players into the game, VG TDs are infinitely more suited than YGO ones.

Of course, I can just play effect vieler over impermanence (which I did) and I play true king agamizud since it came with the structure deck and it works out fine

@@SolemnVanguard You don't need Phantazmay or Impermanence for Salamangreat lol. The deck is very budget friendly.

You don't "need" them, but most competitive Salam decks do seem to run Phantazm in main and imperm in either main or side.

@@SolemnVanguard Right but without them it's a competitively viable budget deck straight out of the boxes, all you need to add is Sunlight Wolf.

Hi, here are some things to know about the current game. 1) it's now divided in 2 formats -standard: only reboot cards -premium: rebooted AND old cards (your old G era cards would be playable in this format, but not the other) 2)both formats are supported tournament wise, and give you a choice. For example, if your clan is undersupported or not in a favourable spot in standard, you can resort to play it in premium, where there is a sort of "everything is busted, hence everything kinda works"format. Sure, some decks are stronger than others, but it's usually less pronounced than standard (where right now bermudas are basically borderline unstoppable). 3) apparently, there will be premium only oriented boosters, called premium collections, where new strides and support for already existing decks can come out. The normal new boosters will be standard oriented tough, so some cards might create some weird interactions (think No Life King, Death Anchor from V series and the old Enigmatic Assassin, that had to be restricted to 1 because of a toxic interaction). I hope this rundown helped you, have fun trying to give the game a second chance.
