I’ve applied based on your videos and because I want the experience. Just waiting on a call back from the recruiter. I’m currently a glass hauler in the lower 48 and Canada. I prefer OTR in a sleeper so I hope those are still an option as I can’t wrap my head around hotel stays in a daycab with a 75-80’ trailer that low to the ground, 😂. Keep the videos coming and thanks for the info.

United Road, like any other company pays .60/mile or less. As a company driver they offered me three loads which all were .55/mile to .58/mile
@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv 11 ай бұрын
That seems quite low what area do you haul out of? Most of my loads tend to be around the $1 per mile mark for both out hauls and back hauls. But I’ve also gotten some runs that seem to pay like $.30 a mile before

Hey brother, currently driving flatbed but coming to car hauling in April. I have a ton of questions but pertaining to this video. How do you all know how close or far apart to park the vehicles on the tractor/trailer? I‘ve been watching tons of videos to gain as much knowledge as possible before starting. Thank you for your time and information!
@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv 6 ай бұрын
So that’s something that you will learn over time but the rule of thumb is at least your fist with your thumb up for bounce from bottom units to top deck. For bumper clearance between cars on trailer it’s at least a fist between bumpers. And head rack to trailer it’s 18 inches so I say make a fist and the distance between your elbow to your knuckles

Why would you Not want to be in a union, especially in car haul? The guy in this video seems like a very conscientious and responsible person in regard to his approach to job performance. These are the type of people the union carriers are looking for. Over the years, I have witnessed the shortcomings of poorly trained and unskilled non-union drivers. You can make damn good money with unrivaled benefits working under a union contract without the constant need to kill yourself working relentlessly and worrying about time deadlines. Unions get the bad rap over the senority aspect. Believe me, any distasteful senority issues when first hired are a small price to pay for a short time with a rewarding outcome by sticking it out.
@CarcarrierTv

I appreciate the good words you have about my channel. And as for not working for the union I don’t have anything personally against it I just love the freedoms I get here in the way I’m allowed to run my truck. Now I’m not saying the union wouldn’t allow that but here if I wanna stay on my normal run I can or if I get the urge to run long coast to coast I can whenever I want or if I just want a week of different scenery I can run wherever I want. Like I said idk if you can run that way or not in the union but I like that I can do that here
