Ok so what I think happened with the protectorate around 8:50 is that the prey was uplifting space age primitives, you took the system, but game didn't realize your empire shouldn't have been able to uplift them, so you did anyways

DarkSpace would be a great mod to pair with this since it adds functional HALOs. Just modify the flood origin to start on a HALO instead of a shield world and it'll be perfect.

With the new Stellaris infestation overmind the Flood have become official for the main game itself. Hopefully they don't nerf it.

Really best way to do it is have custom advanced Ai starts spread away from you, and they’re the other op halo fations. Covenant, UNSC, Banished, forerunners who are Ai, the list goes on. They’ll demolish all their neighbors quickly like you and give you a good fight

Literally trying to pull this off currently with console version. just a hivemind necophage. will convert other pops of other species into the host species. iv even created a UNSC anolog to be in my galaxy as well. its going well so far. But this mod just makes the roleplay so much more in depth. its brilliant.

Remember when Foehammer played as the Flood in Stellaris and how no one actually took him seriously until he ate half the galaxy and even then there was still infighting? I wish this mod existed back then.

i created an empire with this mod, had an AI spawn as it. the AI spawned near tiyana vek, infected almost all of them, got a fleet of around 10k (if not more) millitary power, consumed an empire, and effectively became the crisis without nemesis. and me playing as the UNSC and being the only empire able to combat it, was fun. i almost lost if the contingency didn't spawn in the flood's empire and combat them while i repaired my army

Yo this mod seems really cool I’m definitely gonna give this a play through.

I always loved Halo. Having it also on Stellaris really improved my love for this title. Moreover, thanks to these mods I can also play with other scenarios. My second love is Alien. The movie from Halo is inspired. Colonial Marines and Xenomorphs in the middle of a cold war against space soviets of the UPP? Awesome. So I used government traits to make the "United Americas Allied Command". Unfortunately there is no shipset for UAAC/Weyland&Yutani ships, but I have xeno, UPP, UAAC, W&Y... and the chance to play it whatever I want. Mechanist origin, built up a bunch of habitats stations around my empire, some planetary habitats and I'm ready to fight a war against Xeno and Commies. 😍 Hurra Marines!
