Even more messed up when you do Alphys story first and meet the girl who can't sing any more and "Ascends." The tesleen scene shows us what that little girl goes through.

My blood literality ran cold at that scene, I fucking hated it so much!!!(they force you on a feels trip) But it perfectly sets up how fucked up the world is. >:|

For me the best FF are the old school ones Sakaguchi+Uematsu its pure because of nostalgia. But for modern FF, XIV is just perfect. I actually pretty disappointed at XIII and XV, but now I had a legit reason to be excited about XVI!

I hate to admit it, but I didn't make the connection on my run through Switch either. I have no idea why, either. Heh, maybe the cutscene was so traumatic I blocked it from my mind lol. My Brother in Law had to tell me.

if youve never played any other game with a similar combat system, it can deff take some getting used to. but the game starts very slowly and gives you plenty of time to get to know your class before you have to run a dungeon with strangers. and whether you play mouse/keyboard or controller they both work very well, altho to use controller i did look up a guide on configuring it optimally. and for the most part the community was very good and helpful. its a very fun game and i hope you enjoy your time with it when you jump in.

nah, its very simple, they have an optional thing to teach average mechanics, The House of the Novice, right before the first dungeon, so you can learn the basics easy enough. but the best tip i can give? read the skill tool tips, they will give you all you need to know dude.

The game eases you in pretty well. Just know it takes a bit for the story to get good just be patient with it
