Well after years i tryed starting the hpi baja 5b, think its been atleast 8 years from my closest records of time. Found some damage il need to fix but in the end might jump back in and fix it. Hope you enjoy the video.

With mine you switch choke on do 2 to 3 soft pulls until you feel resistance, then switch choke off then pull one swift pull and she's going. Also make sure you prime the bulb until you feel the pressure has built up in the fuel system before starting also 😊

This was a trevor simpson 27.2 cc reed port and polished.

@@ghostlyrich I’m building a Baja right now basically like what you have. I’m debating if I want a obr 34 or go big bore. It has a esp 32 in it now

My baja steering wont work but the throttle does any thoughts on this

Could be your big steering servo up front is no longer functioning or the port on your receiver pack

No priming , you havnt put the tank switch to up before starting then knock it down once started. This is how not to start a baja 5b
