We are starting with the downstairs powder bathroom and today we are completely changing the lower half of the walls by adding wall moulding and painting it a beautiful, moody color! I am SO excited to see this space transform and I know you will love the finished results! Make sure to come back next week to see the bathroom makeover progress further!

Glad you had some time off to spend with the family over the holidays! I never would have thought it would have turned out like it did … so far. I think you were spot on by adding a chair rail and wainscoting. It gives the walls texture … and I can so picture that wallpaper in there now! It’s definitely leaning towards that pop value with elegance! I assume you’ll change out the vanity? Please say yes … I think you said that was in the plan! Better off with even a pedestal sink, if you can’t fit another type of vanity in there. The current one does nothing for the look you’re going for! I love how the colour dried … it’s very rich and as you said it will change according to whatever lighting and accessories you use! The bonus of having high ceilings is the abundance of designs you can get away with! Have you given much thought to tin ceilings yet? It could add a whole new dimension to what you envisioned. I know I’ve really been pushing tin ceilings … but I’ve seen homes that have installed it. With the variety of patterns available, along with cornice mouldings … it can be stunning. Good job! 🙏🙌❤️🇨🇦

Thank you so much! Yes, elegance is what I’m going for! I don’t have it in the budget to change the vanity but I do have plans for it (come back Sunday to see!) Yes I’m sooo happy with the rich color! I have thought about tin ceilings just now quite sure where I want to do them yet, but thank you for suggesting them 🤍 Thank you so much for your sweet comments ✨🤍

Oh Courtney … the bathroom looks fantastic and you are not even finished with it yet. Gutsy choice in paint colour but will look PERFECT with the wallpaper. Love the wood detail. Thanks for the inspiration every time I watch your videos. Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
