@@tsauce No worries, GAMMA has put alot of new mechanics in recently. Base furniture is amazing, you can make your own work bench, lighting, and storage with the basic tool kits.

I think it was the fact that you downed that one bandit by accident somewhere in that military skirmish, they just get mad at you for having a gun out, I've never actually been killed for having my gun out

@@CallMeAsty Really?! This was even in the first game, Shadow of Chernobyl, if my memory serves well. Only they warned you before they shot you, "no ruze o brow" or something like that they said. In English version "Put away your weapon!"

A bit late here, but if you enable the Ammo Check mod in MO2, you can bind a key to check ammo. It just takes a second and then pops up some text

Magazine Mod. If you want your game to be exactly like this, I'd recommend going through his "My GAMMA setup" vid. It'll also show you how to activate mods that base gamma has disabled by default, also how to configure the mods in game.

@@tsauce Cheers and nicely done so far, you're literally the only player i've seen so far engage with the weapons system properly; not just using weapons that are in perfect condition and just needing to deal with some jamming, which is mostly the only drawback (unless the barrel on the gun is bad) and pretty straightforward. You also use cover and engage/disengage good too, you'd be great for an ironman playthrough :P Would be more your speed. maybe 3 lives +1 a day or something, maybe try out UNISG faction etc. Would be cool to watch. Either way nicely done!

@@whiskizyo2067 I've usually only used/bought guns because of the durability, I've never really gone below 60% durability and have only used the jamming system occasionally but this wants me to find a gun and repair it completely.

I’ve never played any Stalker game ever and I’m starting with GAMMA so I need all the help and knowledge I can find for it, which is slim because most other people already know what they’re doing so there’s not a lot of “beginner/new player” guides for GAMMA. @@leonardosousa297 I appreciate the advice, but not knowing about the Fast Transfer mod when I first started playing GAMMA wasn't that much of an obstacle for me to conquer thanks to Tsauce. I'm far into GAMMA and 100% loving it.

There are stock weapons and modded weapons in the game together so you might have found different versions from mine, I haven't changed anything gun wise in the mod pack.

that would be a cool feature if he lowered it on his own after a while, i could also lower the gun myself to add more immersion haha.

It's a mod called FDDA it comes with gamma but you have to enable it in mod organizer and then turn it on in game through the mod configuration menu, I haven't experienced any game breaking bugs with it but other people have had issues but you can always disable it if you do

@@tsauce hmm I already have food and water animations by default, does that mean the backpack thing is already enabled? Or is that something else?
