State Of Mind

2 жыл бұрын

For my entire life, I've wanted to learn Italian and in this video I attempt to learn the language in 10-days. This was one of the most enlightening and interesting experiments I've done. I learned so much during the process and I hope you learned something too.
Thank you so much for everyone's support on this channel, I'm really excited to build State Of Mind with you all.

These videos are extremely well done, I thought this would have millions of views. Memorize the KZfaq algorithm and tell people to comment when they watch. Your videos deserve the attention and I mean that. Loved it

I mean, every frame is just beautiful! I am so shocked that you have achieved so much in such a young age! Cannot wait to see what amazing things you will do in the near future! For a language fan such as me, your video is informative and enjoyable! You don't just make videos. You make films. I think it'll be wonderful if you add CC to your films. When binge watching in fast speed, it's just more efficient to have the subtitles on. And I heard adding CC increases your chance to be searched. Grazie mille! You are simply wonderful. Keep being that!

Learning sentences vs grammar and vocab made a HUGE difference in my conversational competence in learning Arabic. There's definitely a transition period that should take place to accommodate for the value that sentence learning provides and the fundamental knowledge needed in the initial stages. good work!

I think the glowup is soon for you, caught you on my homepage. You are pretty much who I wanted to be as a child and who I still aspire to grow into. In a bit of a dark place right now, but I'll find my way out. Thank you. Bonus of learning Italian that you're bound to have figured out by now, it's related to French and Spanish. I've met a good few South Americans that can hold conversations with Italians because the languages are so similar. French is a bit of a different beast, but has enough shared words to start.

I can't believe I'm seeing this video. You have a video solution for all my problems i have inside my mind. Discipline, photographic memory, meditation, language learning. Thankyou so much. I'm learning French right now. It's like someone went inside my brain, saw those problems and making a solution for my problems. The video quality and production is top notch. And if you have time, please make a video about effective ways to journal or storytelling through journalling. Thankyou again.

Here's a tip: prioritize memorizing what you are most likely to need to "survive" first. For example: Yes, No, Please, Thank you, Hello, Goodbye, etc. And then move up in complexity to everyday situation. Don't bother with anything other than the mundane, ordinary, everyday. Also, try translating your favorite songs and singing them. I found that mobile phone apps are also useful.

What a guy, make more videos, I am sure you'll eventually catch a wave and get millions of views just like how you deserve. I have been designing for over 7 years now and damn you have the best editing I have seen in a long time, it's being done in such a high quality manner, it really feels just like watching netflix (which I am assuming is what you are going for). What really helped me with learning English was surrounding myself with it, whether it's youtube videos, netflix shows (you should definitely have italian subtitles when watching shows once you are comfortable with it) or songs. If you feel confident enough then even force yourself to start thinking in Italian. Best regards.

I’m so happy you stopped learning words bc that’s one of the worst things you could do when you wanna learn a language haha😭 I know 4 languages and the way I’ve learned them was mostly through being exposed to it by moving and talking a lot (A LOT) with other people and then I started to learn the alphabet 😊 I really like your videos !

Very impressive. Gosh… I have three months to learn Korean.. and I’m nervous! .. I’m going to try though. It’s hard to understand when someone speaks to you because you can process your own thoughts and what you want to say… but translating the words they speak is more difficult.

I think this is cool and all but as someone who has been studying Italian intensely for 11 months, it’s very obvious that the end was scripted and rehearsed due to the fact that many of the words and phrases were pronounced and spoken with such an awkward timing. When you actually learn a word, you learn to time it and pronounce it reasonably correctly, due to the amount of time you have to spend with that word to internalize it. The way you pronounced “abbia” was just a clear indication that you read it off a translation or something. If you had taken the time to learn that word, there’s no way the pronounciation would be that far off. I’m not trying to hate but as someone who’s dedicated serious time to this language, it bothers me when people make these “I learned this in 10 days” videos, because that is impossible. I just find these types of videos super misleading. That whole concept is a meme within the language learning community. All that aside, respect for learning Italian. I hope you’ve continued your journey.

I'm italian. The complexity you find in Italian grammar is largely counterbalanced by the fact that, unlike English, written and spoken are linked. In Italian there is only one fixed way to read each syllable. It is said as it is read. Having a spelling bee like you do in American high schools in Italian would make no sense. You would almost never get it wrong. Continue with the study of the Italian language. You are already very good for studying it in only few weeks.🎉💪
