IT WORKED. I learned Spanish in 30 days to surprise my friend 10,000km away in Catalonia for his 21st birthday.
I really hope you learned a lot from this series and that you try this out for yourself. Language learning is fun and it really connects us with the rest of the world.
P.S. The Sirianni Method has over half a million views and we crossed 20,000 subscribers! This is so ridiculous! Thank you to everyone believing this channel and supporting these episodes.

The third language is the hardest to learn. I remember learning that it's like we all have a spot in our minds for a "second language" but when we go to learn a third, it starts trying to overwrite that second language, and context switching is really tough. I found this when I learned Russian after knowing English and French. Good luck with Amharic - apparently the 4th language is easier, so I am looking forward to seeing how it goes for you!

That definitely makes sense, even now, I really have to ground myself in either Spanish or Italian before having a conversation in order to not keep switching between the two in my head haha

ive heard that a lot of people find learning the third language easier if they learn it in their second language, i suppose because it adds another seperation to the languages as supposed to learning them both through the native language which will always be strong n therefore much harder to overritght when learning a 3rd

I like how the friend didn't even seem that fazed about him having learnt so much Spanish in such a short period of time. Kinda like when your really smart friend tells you they did something super impressive, but it's the norm for them lol. Like, oh you built your own personal robot to launder your clothes for you? That's really cool, man. But seriously, this was such a thoughtful (and successful) project to take on... plus entertaining and informative for viewers. Well done!

Just found your account and am genuinely blown away and so inspired by the tenacity, creativity and just absolutely unique way that you seem to approach and see the world. Your videography work is insane and the way that you layer together the visuals, audio and light is captivating and emotive. Congratulations on everything that you’ve achieved it’s so inspiring! 😊

Wow cool. I've tried to learn Spanish for about 30 years off and on. Aced 4 years of Spanish in school (because you can sort of game the tests with short-term memory and things you know the teacher will care about) and tried a few different language-learning systems as well as watching Spanish-language TV and it never took. Also tried Dutch (in-laws), Arabic (also in-laws), and French (vacation), but beyond learning a few significant words it went nowhere. I might try your method after I finish my current goal of learning guitar. In regards to production, I was impressed by the sound. Many people pay a lot of attention to visuals, but sound is often missed and you're nailing it. I especially like the attention to panning (you sitting at the table talking to someone offscreen to my left and it's panned in my left headphone).

Fue muy bonito ver una vista positiva de Catalunia, ya que en la internet, todo lo que se vé son las muchas maneras que los locales roban a los turistas y las caras horribles de los Piqué, especialmente la cara de bruja de la madre. Thanks for this video, it`s great although I think that even if you learn the words and phrases you normally use, you might encounter someone who doesn`t use the same as you do, so comprehension might be hard on your side, entonces yo pienso es muy importante aprender un poco mucho vocabulary hacerlo facil tener un conversation con gente differente. I tried learning spanish once and I quit after a long time of no progress, I am trying again. Dreamers don`t Quit.

When I was 21 I moved to Italy, after 2 month I could pretty much understand Italian and communicate, after 7 month speak fairly. I lived 13 years in Italy. I studied some Spanish and French too so I am able to read and get the meaning out of the text but never got to practice much. Other things in life were more important - faìth, husband, children and work. Jesus is Lord. May God bless you

It's impressive for sure, but not crazy. He spoke slowly, on topics that he had practiced, and made a lot of the beginner mistakes (not to take away from his accomplishment, everyone makes mistakes). The thing to keep in mind here is that he had previously studied Italian (which shares a lot of grammatical similarities), and immersed himself in that culture. Super cool to see progress like this in a month, as someone who has been studying Spanish for about 7 months, I wish I had started out doing what he did.
