No more messing around with minimal cooling systems. Minimal wont be good enough for cooling the water. It is time to kick this cooler in the guts and beat the heat.

Looks like the chute junction is the wrong way.

I still feel like a tech priest working with the phase change. I no matter how long i play and how many tutorials or your videos i watch its still the most arcane stuff ever. I just make what i think makes sense and pray to the omnisiahah that my plants dont turn into genestealers.

Thanks. Your videos really help me learn this complicated game. Look forward to the next one.

You’re inspiring me to learn the phase change stuff. Still intimidated by the hot planets. Maybe I could build a heat pump on Europa?

You have a burnt wire in the main base airlock. Maybe heavy cables are needed and a power transformer/s are needed for the miners.

Nice pickup. I didnt find that untill I was replacing the cables between episodes.

With all the others your water situation is much worse than think. You didn’t have all plants before. And the chute is definitely backwards 😊

Your 30 day water projection was based on many days without plannts and than a bunch of them wot fewer plants.

🚨‼️OCD Compliance Alerts ‼️🚨 2 VIOLATIONS - You need to make sure you repair any solar panels after that last storm. And I think the merge chute on the miners is turned the wrong direction. ‼️

What's the reason for putting the mined ores through the centrifuge? (I'm not very deep into the game yet - there's lots of stuff in this video series I don't quite follow!)
@axeleverttv4 ай бұрын
When you process an ore, it releases certain gasses. What gasses and how much is shown in the F1 Menu when you look at that ore. If you put that ore into a furnace, then it will release those gasses into the furnace and mess with the temperature and pressure of it. Putting them through the centrifuge removes those gasses so they don't mess with the furnace.
@toast34 ай бұрын
The deep miners produce dirty ore, which needs to be centrifuged into normal ores (iron, copper etc). The next steps for that system are to sort, stack, and smelt.

So about this Condenser you placed. What's the reason for connecting it to the flow between the evaporator on it's "heat exchange side". Wouldn't it be more optimal to connect it the other way around, so gas from the evaporator flows into the "Gas input" on the condenser to be liquified and then out the liquid pipe and back. I've tried to do a 100% copy of what you ended up in this series, but keeping the liquid available in the evaporator is almost impossible, since it doesn't evaporate quickly enough on "the other side", putting pressure on the other side (after the volumepump). I have now reversed the setup (flipped the condenser), removed both tanks (liquid on the evaporator side and the normal tank and the condenser side). Pumping in cold night air as normal, into 2 condensation valved with a BP regulator set at 50Mpa. Also with an expansion valve on the liquid side and after that another BP regulator set at 3500kPa. Cooling is very stable now and there's always liquid in the evaporator (between 10 and 20 liters). Just curious about the thought process behind your setup Mick.

I'm confused about that as well. He has only pollutant in the condenser even though there is dirty gas being piped into the input.
@axeleverttvАй бұрын
I just realized. It's not a condenser. He uses a second evaporator to cool the hot pollutant.

The space whales were singing the songs of their people! 😆 You not interested in fixing your older solar panels? Oh, and you seemed to purposefully put your chute connector facing from the silo to the miners - any reason for that? Lastly, I could have sworn I saw a blown cable going out to your weather station - best check it out

Err, yes, thats right, it was purposefull. It definitely wasnt stupid that did it.

You haven't factored in the water usage of your plants. So you have considerably less water than you think you have.

Are you going to let your inferior solar panels decay naturally so they can be replaced by the big fancy ones? Think you might upset a few people with your chutes
