Yeah, I know exactly what you mean! My left leg very nearly fell off making this video! ;) In answer you your question, I learnt a technique called the Toe-Heel technique, which allows me to pivot my ankle on the pedal and play multiple notes. Hehe, yeah, I was just improvising the solo and not trying to play it like Dave Grohl did. Obviously, he only used ONE bass drum pedal! Yes, the triplets you're talking about are taught in the FULL version of this video which you can download from my website. The links can be found in the description box above. Haha, you cheated! 1:41, I can see the double bass drum kicking in! I was impressed that you actually included the drum solo, very impressive. Is there any way you could do a video of how you did the triplets around the kit, as seen in 2:06-2:08?

That drum part was written by Chad Channing. The original version was called pay to play. Pretty sure of that… Because the intro starts like breed. Which was once called Imodium. Also by Chad.

Just a heads up… chad Channing also wrote his drum parts, played by Dave Grohl lithium, in bloom (stay away and breed ) Also, the symbols on Polly. Basically, Chad Sherman is responsible for the difficult jazz type stuff and Dave Grohl is responsible for the hard-hitting caveman Stuff

That’s why Nirvana sounded more pop onece Dave join the band. He didn’t have the drumming knowledge that Chad Channing had to do the intricate stuff. And Dave Grohl used Chad Channing as a template moving forward for other Nirvana parts.( Evidence of this is the intro to territorial Pissings.) so the genius that you’re referring to is actually the genius of Chad Channing

Hey Rob, good video, I love this song. I was wondering, how can you possibly play a song like that without having your right leg (well, the left leg in your case :p ) falling apart, it's so intense! Just like many songs drummed by Dave Grohl (Monkey Wrench, Territorials Pissings) there are in this song, the 3 bass drum note played between each snare drum that are very hard to do! It's not all about strenght of the leg right? There must be a technique to allow you to play all along the song.
