We were there last week (Feb 23), a great walk in the wet & wild, managed to build a roaring fire to warm and dry us all off accompanied by a hearty knock together meal and plenty of whisky ... heaven.

How far do you have to walk from the nearest point you can park a car to the bothy itself? I would like to go with my partner and our little 10 month old baby and i am trying to figure out how to make it. Cheers!

Suardalan. Suderdalan? Sounds pretty old norwegian

Most of their names are Scottish Gaelic, which at a certain point of history was clearly influenced by the old norse language.
