I am super introverted. I never go anywhere without my wife. So, I get what you are feeling. I think you are amazing for going anyway. I think you are brave for living your life despite your fears. I enjoy your content. Keep going, you are building yourself for a futrue with a great partner.

I traveled off and on since1997. I never had a problem with crazy people, but there are a lot of online communities and RV groups for people who are single or just want to have companionchip while traveling. Granted some of them are older folks but might be something to look into.

I am the same, as far as raves and such. I tend to goto plays, movies or amusement parks by myself

hospitality workers and state workers seem to make the best youtube videos. dealing with the public does pay off. you keep us engaged and that's a great trait to have.

The last part of your video talking about duality of loneliness and wanting to be with someone to travel,the feeling you talked about was very therapeutic for me.I feel exactly the same way.I have a dog that keeps me more needed and less lonely.i wish you could get a cat or a dog so you don’t feel lonely.great video.thank you for being yourself.

San Diego is a pretty safe city overall as long as you aren't near the border. I lived there for 3 years. Stick to Pacific Beach or La Jolla and you'll be fine. Del Mar might be a good spot as well but it's so high end that there might not be many spots to stay overnight. Up towards San Onofre there are some beach front camping sites too right on the water. Further north into Orange County there are great places like Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, and Laguna Nigel. I lived there as well. The closer you get to L.A. from then on, the worse it gets.

BTW, Depoe Bay Oregon is the BEST place for catching the Grey Whale migration -- you can get a tour in am 18 foot Zodiac. There is nothing like seeing a dark grey back rise out of the water in front of you that is attached to an animal that is 3 to 4 times the size of the boat you are in!!!

As an old (literally) truck driver that has spent 1000's of nights sleeping in a truck and more recently a beautiful Sprinter van that I'm still building......I totally understand how distance enters the loneliness equation. I'm from the STL area and could easily stay out on the road for 3-4 weeks while working up and down the east coast. But when I had loads going to CA or anywhere on the West coast (which I absolutely love) I would suddenly get this nervous and uneasy feeling that I was suddenly too far from home and my family. As much as I enjoyed being near the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful mountains and I have to admit, the famously beautiful CA girls, I always felt like I needed to head back east. Anyway, I think that you are awesome and encourage you to keep chasing your dreams and follow your heart!

Raves were so 90's 😅. I've been in a relationship for almost 10 years and I have never been so alone. When I was single I never felt lonely. Most experiences, good or bad are best shared. You have so much to offer, don't settle.

parfait rules!!! when you choose not to live in a comfortable bubble, you get to have incredible moments of enjoyment and refection. This is vanlife, you may not feel like conquoring the world some days because you're doing the harder work on yourself. Adventures are as much inward discovery, as to taking on new challenges and experiences. if you chose to ignore the sounds you would have missed the firworks. lifes really like that, be a hard target, be curious. you got this Tory.

Introverts are the most interesting and deep people. I can relate. I went through a long spell of loneliness in my 20s due to some trauma but then met my wife, and we've been married 30 years now. You're smart, beautiful, witty, and charming. You'll figure it out.

east coaster here. I had a similar experience with moving to the West Coast for a couple years. Never felt at home and it always felt like something was missing. I also didn't feel like I fit into the culture out there. It can be subtle but I think there is a huge culture difference between coastlines. I feel so much more at home in the east. The loneliness may be why some vanlifers, who can afford it, travel with one or more animal buddies. Thank you and that aquatic center for the fireworks. I've spent much of my life's vacations near by and years ago I lived there training with some of the world's best triathletes. You were there during a very rainstorm muddied up the place. I learned to surf when I was 7 just 5 miles from the fireworks...in fact, I was supposed to be there for the holidays but got tied up here in Phoenix. Be well and be safe.

Every now and then I need to be with people to remind myself why a solitary lifestyle is not so bad. Perhaps that’s the journey of an introvert? It is for me!

TBH, raves can and do happen at 10 in the morning, BUT, they definitely don't start at that time. Most likely, its still going from previous night and most likely, it will keep going till much much later lol. I just worked Countdown NYE music festival in So Cal, both days, the festival started at 4pm and went till 2am. BUT, there was an official after party both days where the party kept going till 6am if you paid extra money to stay longer. Many other raves and festivals, the party just goes on around the clock for several days, places like Burning Man.

If you're ever in the Northern California area, I'm down to hang out and be awkward together. I'm living put of my truck currently, that's how i found your channel. Keep it up, love your content!

The audience only sees a 15 minute video of all the highlights. What is not seen is what you shared with us. Going into a place as an introvert and feeling out of place. The uncertainty and fear you face on the road sometimes. The loneliness that washes over you at times, even in busy places. And probably many hours of boredom or monotony you may experience on the road as well. Thanks for sharing your story. Safe travels as you continue on your journey!

Life is just that in a house, van 13:24 , apt, etc. When u find something you don’t like do something about it. Don’t like what you just did? Do something different. Just keep changing till you’re happy the majority of the time. It’s as good as it gets and you’re in charge. Go!

You may want to visit natural parks - while you there, like Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Sequoia national parks - these parks are unique to California and it's a lot safer and enjoyable than being in a big cities.

Wow, great video and creative story, thank you for sharing despite the current awkwardness in your van! I was overlanding (um, sounds better than SUV camping, right?) in the summer and fall and I thought the hardest part was being a ‘bookie’-type person and not having a great workspace. And you still manage to work on your computer and produce videos. P.S. I skipped southern cal and went Pacific Northwest through CA national parks to Utah to Arizona.

This is why you’re going to do so good you’re not dull and ho-hum you’re out there living it I like your crazy I live in Lakeland Florida I leave on April fools to head out and live my life. I have always been introverted and at 59 I was diagnosed with Autism. I found a long time ago my way to interact was to roleplay and become another person which I am very good at but it is a tiring way to make and keep friends and so you stop and they go. My genuine feelings I would hide as people would find them weird. Have you ever felt lonely in a crowd No one to talk to with people all around Hiding in the corner not saying a word It’s better that way you know that for sure You watch people dance, drink chatter in groups They laugh and smile, happy as more come Hugs or handshakes, kisses sometimes Have you ever felt more lonely in a crowd I write poems usually covering the darker feelings
