Only yesterday I passed that same Rothery Industries onto my dad for a loco to use as he starts to build his layout - it really did run fantastic including slow running over Hornby points.

Just been offered this video by KZfaq. Great to hear your excitement. As a matter of interest the GW 0-4-0 that you showed was styled from a real engine, no. 101, if I remember correctly, built as a works engine for Swindon works.

That mogul sounds like the airfix 4f that I bought off eBay. Noisy as hell but a hellava nice runner and pulls well so I put up with the noise

Your videos have got me back into the hobby. Found my old kit I had as a kid in my dads shed. Just ordered a second hand flying Scotsman as always wanted one. Fingers crossed it works 😂
