Original way of making puttu in coconut shell..cheretta puttu superb. It's taste is really superb. The salt container also very superb. All varities of mud vessels superb. Dried fish curry with banana also very tasty. Kerala breakfast is always very tasty.. You are perfectly showing the original Kerala way of cooking. Hats off to you... The way Nami went to buy dry prawns also original form. Olden days people use to go to the nearby shops and buy day to day things. Superb

Hi, lovely blog. I use to prepare egg curry and puttu, but your preparation is entirely different. I don't mix grated coconut with the flour, i should try this. I don't use duck egg as it is rarely available in Andaman. It is since 3 years i cooked dry fish. Your preparation made my mouth watery. Great!!!! keep it up.

Such a nice vlog. It was wonderful watching Nami's mother preparing simple but very tasty food. First the duck eggs curry and the unusual way of steaming puttu in coconut shells It made me wish so much, that I could join mother and daughter for break fast Next it was rice and the unusual combination of raw mango with Nendra Kaya and dried fish! Wow. Teamed with pappadum it was THE perfect lunch. Nami is so lucky to have such a wonderful mother, who makes such tasty food for her. The calm and peaceful surroundings with the sound of squirrels and nightingale pleasantly breaking the silence, is something I enjoy observing very much. . Thank you.

Made from rice flour in which palm sugar added and then steamed. Eaten with a sprinkling of grated coconut.
