Good video on how to scratch and damage shaft and housing using a screw driver !

Mine is leaking in the same place, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit looks like a easy enuff job as long as you have the right tool to pop the old seal out... Thanks for the vids!!

Para la siguiente esa no es la forma de cambiar el imput shaft seal .. Primero quita el plastic cover luego quita el retaining ring y luego desconecta la linea de retorno de la bomba y ponle un tapon a esa linea en la bomba de hidraulico despues prende el camion por 5 segundos despyes lo apagas y el sello sale solo y listo nunca de los nuncas uses desarmador ya que se puede dañar por adentro .....saludos

Dont use a screwdriver. Can do some damage to shaft or housing. Drill a small hole in the seal and use a slide hammer with a screw bit. Pops right out without any damage.

I’m afraid to fix it that way because I might mar the shaft or the case it’s messier but I follow the instructions an I make sure I top it off before I crank it quick so the seal pops out funny thing is my first time attempting to fix the seal I thought it was enough oil but it wasn’t so I made a huge mess till I figured it out that you have to add oil to the full line before the quick crank the instructions leave that part out 😀

I changed mine myself. The directions say to bump the starter and let the pressure push out the seal after the clip is removed. It did not come out from the pressure so I had to pry it out BUT i was very careful like a doctor I was so scared I would scratch the shaft and ruin my gear box. I made a very tiny hole in my old seal and pryed it out I never beat with hammer and screw drivers I was to fearful I would ruin something
