This experience is so much better than I had expected. Shift Up, the Korean studio who made this game I am very impressed with. We will have to see what the final product is like and how fun and or deep the game does get but wow, theres a lot to like here and I'm into it. Preordered the physical copy! Thanks Pete!

I'll be very happy to look fwd to it. I'm not planning on getting a PS5 for a long time so for now I'm just very happy that there will be a few games I'm interested in. Stellar Blade and Tekken 8 are the main ones but hopefully there will be more

I've been excited about this game ever since it was called Project Eve and I'm so happy with how the combat turned out and how it feels. This is a great demo that I hope changes the minds of people who think the game is just 'attractive protagonist' and no substance.

Stellar Blade is definitely a game that people should get. I like how it's more of a no fuss, no mess type of game that a lot of modern games are with their complicated gameplay mechanics, open world where they keep throwing side quests and things to keep track of constantly.... When I get to finally having a PS5, I'll get this game for sure.

Well, the last 3 bosses of stellar blade were actually as hard if not harder than pretty much any boss in Elden Ring for me, so there’s that, 2nd to last boss was as bad as melania for me

I just played the demo and I really enjoyed it. Definitely has a Nier style with a souls like gameplay but better in my opinion since it’s a game for everyone.

I played the demo, it's not bad, but I'm tired of locking onto enemies and parrying. I really wish they would bring back stuff along the lines of Ninja Gaiden Black/II, God Hand or Urban Reign.

I liked the game! Action games like the ps2 are literally my favorite genre! The game is good but a lot of the weirdos talking about it isn't so that was definitely pushing me away from paying the game any attention.

A lot of the gaming journos seem to be stiring up controversy over this game that seems unfounded. It's high fantasy as you say, and I'm perfectly happy with that. I suspect this is the type of game the market needs right now. A challenging game that is linear and focused on good combat that brings back the great mechanics we had from the 2000s. I've enjoyed the demo and have preordered the physical version of the game. Really looking forward to this as I think it's a little bit different from the more tiresome "open world" but filled with needless tasks design we've seen too much in the AAA arena.

I was hooked from the jump. And then there's Eve. Cor blimey! 😍. I could watch her go up and down ladders all day! 🧐 The Body stocking costume variant was the most appealing. If there was a defense reduction I didn't notice it because, ya know, Eve's in a body stocking and who cares if you're taking more damage 😍. The wonderful view of her callipygian anatomy is worth it. 😍

I think all your points are super valid and I’m with you but my issue with that game is the price… it’s ok to create a simple game like ps2 era but selling it at 70$ as a AAA banger is not it. Sony taxes

@@Vulpas Plus if a game is great to play, we used to just play it multiple times. We seem to have lost that in recent years. When a game takes 200 hours to complete and half that time is needless fetch quests, I'm much less likely to replay the game ever again. But give me a 20 hour game with difficultly levels that increase with your skill at the game, I'm all for that.

Some big twitch streamers are basically tearing into the game. But I shouldn't be surprised cause they play Fighting Games. So yeah.. Also they lean more left when it comes to Politics. So I think they are just Trashing the game because they want to appeal to a certain audience. *Coughs*

Yep, and we can already assume that it won’t get the recognition it deserves from the game awards if it turns out to be as good or better than the demo. Geoff kheiley blackballed hogwarts legacy from the awards and it was the highest selling game of last year, it literally outsold cod and players loved the game.

Dark Souls has ruined this entire generation of third person action adventure games. The combat is stilted and clumsy and there’s too much open world fluff. Good to see a game that resembles 6th and 7th gen linear button mashing hack and slash games again.

It’s a game with no agenda or diversity or representation. Sounds perfect but prepare for waves of critics and gamers to be butthurt and offended. I’m on series x but I’m buying a copy just to support this game.

That’s perfectly valid. People have different preferences and tolerances for sexualized content, and as much as I’m glad a game like this exists, it’s good that people who wouldn’t like it for that reason know in advance to avoid it instead of that being an unpleasant surprise.
