Just picked up stellaris for Christmas and been loving it. Been binging guides, tier lists, etc. and just now looking at mods. Never seen game devs recommend/showcase mods before. Mad respect. Love what I've been seeing in regards to the game, the devs, and the community over the last week; here's to many more to come!

This game needs an equivalent to Skyrim's Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) rather than that intrusive pop up menu at the beginning.

I've been playing with Stellaris Evolved for months now, and ngl I thought the ascension situations came with an update to the base game.... Also I'd love to see you feature Gigastructural Engineering.

"Battle against the fallen empires to claim their ancient technologies as your own in War in Hell." what does this even mean.. "in War in hell"

If you advance your tech past the point of the fallen empires they won't like that and will start a war in hell, similar to a war in heaven except against you instead of another fallen empire.

The War in Hell has a chance to happen after you obtain the second tier from ACOT, aka the Alpha Tier. Basically the Fallen Empires may get mad that you're empire has technologically surpassed them. You can either give them Alpha Tier techs to prevent the war (causing them to awaken), fight them, or intimidate them if you're stronger than the FE's.

I'm glad that Paradox is highlighting awesome mods but you guys really should consider removing the restriction of disabling achievements on modded games otherwise it feels like we're cheating ourselves.

ACOT is just bad, quantity over quality and horrible design, writing and balance.

You can literally disable any feature you don't like, and it's not like obtaining all of ACOT's tech tiers is easy (unless you're running other mods, which allow you to get resources in an instant)

These all sound hugely UNBALAMNCED, and over powered i dont get why Stellaris Devs would endorse these. They "warp" the gameplay it might as well be a different game whats the point?

With ACOT you can disable any features you don't want at the beginning, while the other three aren't that op really. That's the point of mods to add new features/ alter the base game to allow new possibilities, playstyles and bring new mechanics. There's many amazing mods out there, and Stellaris has a very talented modding community, which deserves to be showcased more.

"Unbalanced" and "overpowered", you're clearly going into this with a competitive mindset. In other words, this is very much a You Problem.
