I'm in a situation where I have a bunch of small fleets (1 or 2 ships) but it won't let me merge them. They are all huddled together. Can't get the option to merge though. Any idea why?

I'm still struggling to figure out the merge mechanics on xbox one. I want to transfer some destroyers into my corvette fleet but it keeps saying "There must be two or more ships of the same class to merge" I don't even know what that's supposed to mean 😢

Is there any way I can auto merge fleets? When you fortify your fleet, you create many fleets, and the list of ships shows too many ships from different shipyards. Also, can I select a specific fleet and put it at the top of the list?

I don't have the same view of my fleet like the view you have on the right. So I still cannot transfer my fleet.

Hey CF your last stellarisvid has been a while. You said you would quit the game for good because of the horrible unity-rework. And I must say I was pretty shocked when they pushed it live like that. But on the other hand they really improved on the AI. I got my ass kicked on grand admiral. That has not happend for a long time. I did a game without any boni for the AI and it could generally hold its own. It even strifes to become custodian and declare the first galactic empire so I was able to do the achievment where you start an rebellion and dethrone the emperor without any shenanigans on my part. It was pretty neat.

It wont let me merge ships if different classes, like frigates with cruisers, please help this is driving me fuckin nuts

k so I have 2 small fleets. both not even close to cap. both sitting around earth. the merge tab is grayed out. why. I'm on xbox. the only thing I can think of is I need both fleets selected. I'm not sure how to select multiple fleets at once
