Great information. The dry erase markers have acetone in them. I think it’s less concentrated than the nail polish remover. I have used both methods and have mixed results with both types.

Yep.....Some people are less intimidated by the markers. Which is a great choice. this is just faster. but got to be careful for sure. Thanks for watching

Your channel gets better every post. I’m looking forward to more great information. Picked up an original 1969 redline tbt bird the other day from an op shop so keen to have a go on restoration after I finish moving house. Keep up the great posts 👍👍

I’ve used brake fluid. Stinky but faster and doesn’t damage the paint as bad if you work in small sections

Yep. Brake fluid does it as well. That is why it is important to not spill it on your real car when adding fluid. Thanks for watching

Thanks JP. just go slow with it. If you are timid about it like this (if you go too far it can remove paint) by all means try the dry eraser........Thanks for watching

Go slow with it and keep the Q tip wet. Once you get to where you want to be ,,,,stop. it is easy to go too far. Thanks for watching

Will acetone work to remove a decal that is put on the windshield?

No it will destroy the plastic windshield......Better option is to get some goo gone from the store and use that. Thanks for watching

oooo so with the aseton also works as well i thougt aseton for unboxing blister only thanks but it will not destory the color rite...after several day thanks

Acetone has a bunch of uses. It will not destroy the paint. But keep the Qtip wet and go slow . because it can and will remove paint if you are not careful. Get it to the point you want and stop. Then just take a little car wax on your finger and rub it on.....Will look wonderful. Thanks for watching
