We take a look at the many level crossings in Northumberland. This video was filmed between 2012 and 2016, and shows some crossing before and after being renewed with LED lights.

I guess it is kind of randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released movies online?

s trains Your lucky to get over 100mph in Sussex but on the East and West Coast your looking at 125mph for a reasonable amount of time during the journey.

my favorite is the Cambois/Battleship Wharf level crossing, i like how the crossing is set up due to the road and rails, and the alarms sound very close and pretty much alike to the Britannia Bridge level crossing in wales

Some old barriers at the last crossing as well! Also, the alarms going of briefly as the gates begin to rise reminds me of a crossing I've seen.

Pirton LC, that one had that glitch for a while. I think they've sorted it out now

Mysteriously compelling to watch! These are all East Coast line crossings. Where I live in the Tyne Valley there are a couple near me for the Newcastle-Carlisle line, one at Ovingham and another at Dilston, which is between Corbridge and Hexham.

Great video. You don't want to see the state of some of these LC, Widdrington LC can't be working properly for a day without breaking

I’ve been wanting to know this for ages, how often do trains use Battleship Wharf Level Crossing and what would I type into real-time trains to know when a train is going to go through it? And also Potland AOCL.
@stephensrailways5 жыл бұрын
There's 3-4 trains per day using Battleship Wharf, as the loaded and returning empties to Drax Power Station and West Burton start and finish there. On Real Time Trains, you can find the times by looking for Freemans L.C. In the case of Potland, I cannot find that on Real Time Trains, and I believe that at the moment, there is no scheduled traffic on that line.

stephensrailways Ahh nice one, this info helps a lot. So all trains bound and from North Blythe power station, all trains go over Battleship Wharf LC?
@pineappleroad9 ай бұрын
I believe Potland is abandoned, and possibly has been since 2014 or so There is another level crossing on that line, which is well and truly abandoned, lights removed, track fenced off, and just beyond the crossing, heading towards Ashington, the track has been pulled up

The crossing at 5:10 is interesting. Not skirts there! I wonder why they didn't install any. Same goes for the ones at 9:56, 18:28, and 21:54.
