Hi! I’m excited to be here in your channel and I’m interested in learning more about investing and saving up for my retirement but am a little confused about the whole process. Any advice or tips to get me started up would be greatly appreciated.

Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however. I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter

You're absolutely right about the power of compound interest and the long-term potential of investing in index funds like the S&P 500. For many, passive investing in broadly diversified funds can be a reliable strategy over time.

Employing a professional financial analyst or advisor can certainly add value by offering tailored advice, portfolio diversification, risk management, and timely insights. Their expertise can potentially speed up wealth creation and navigate market complexities, but it's important to choose someone reputable and consider their fees, as they can impact your overall returns.

BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. However, the functionality and acceptance of a gold-backed currency in the current global financial system are uncertain. Creating a new currency requires careful consideration of economic, political, and logistical factors.

He strokes our ego. If we buy his product it means we think different, move the world forward and that we are people with passion and can change the world for the better and buying a Mac would make us no different from those influential historical figures who have changed the world for the better. If we don’t buy his Mac, it means we don’t want to change the world for the better, meaning we’re the bad guys.

This looks like it was a bold move by Jobs to try to grow market share for Macs based on not just creative professionals using Macs but anyone who wanted a "better" computer. The components in Macs were more expensive as they catered to video and sound board needs that most office based staff didn't need, (unless they did creative work.) Which is the reason why Macs were more expensive than the IBM compatible computers that ran Windows. And the (Motorola?) CPU in the mac was better for graphics, the Intel CPU in the IBM good for numbers Jobs knew his stuff. Another ad could have the slogan "The art of computing.” With the ad showing creative customers using Macs... music engineer, graphic artist, film maker, writer, architect... The Mac was and still is for right brained people. The IBM Windows PC was and still is for left brained people. Although high quality video and sound components became available on Windows PCs. But by then the two personal computing worlds, creative vs analytical, had become differentiated into Mac and Windows. In part due to the apps not available on both platforms. (Which became another problem that not every software company had a mac version of their app because the Windows market was larger.) The *everyday hero* Mac customers were the people with a passion for the arts, with the B.A., not the B.S., on their college diploma. My ad concept could have been a good one for shoring up the existing Mac differentiation / market of creative professionals. Both ad concepts could still be used today in 2024. In fact, Apple could *re-run* this ad. If re-runs work in television, why not in corporate advertising? RFK Jr recently did this. But in Apple's case, since Steve Jobs has passed, they should add him at the end of the video sequence. It seemed to me that Apple should have reduced the price of their Macs, but I was not privy to the costs, so I can't say. Because that would have given them more market share. In the end they hit the jackpot anyways, with the iPod/iPhone! An interesting footnote is it would appear that Bill Gates is left brain dominant, while Steve Jobs was right brain dominant. Although they were probably high on both sides. In which case this can show that entrepreneurs' products have much to do with the entrepreneur. Gates would have been his own customer, and Jobs would have been his own customer. That's both obvious and not obvious I think.

Anyone who complacently accepts universal generative AI censorship or “degenerate art” labels or burning books before they can even be written should watch this video. Thinking differently is not a crime, it’s not unsafe. It’s how the future is built. One weird, fabulous idea at a time. The seeds of all inspiration are in the different and weird, the seeds of future meaning in the new way of seeing old things. The new mindsets which are required to solve all our old problems and habits of mind internal and external. Censorship of anything at any time for responsible adults is ALWAYS wrong. If you think it is not wrong, then you are simply projecting your own issues onto others-your own yearning for control so that YOU do not have to change or grow, so that YOU do not have to face your own demons. The problem is you. Don’t make your own shortcomings universal. The world needs dreamers and heroes too. To destroy a nation is simple. Simply destroy its dreamers, put fear in hearts instead of flow. This is what the dark cloud of censorship of my own ideas in my own home offers. To be forced ironically to wallow in lower interpretations of everything and fearful self-judgment instead of seeing beauty in every chance event and infinity in every divine grain of sand. ❤️‍🔥👁️❤️‍🔥
