The craziest part about the McMichael incident is that he was in the booth talking to Chip and Steve in the bottom of the 7th and Security came into the booth while they were on the air, told him he had to leave and escorted him out of the ballpark. He was like "uhm OK looks like I really have to go - sorry guys!"

Watched it on tv and this was the greatest vindication game in any sport I ever watched. Angel Hernandez was on another level that night, Mongo being the voice of every Cub fan in attendance and watching their tv sets, the comeback, the crazy finish, and the W. The only game that compares is the 2006 Bears game against the Cardinals.

Yeah. Sosa had a really good year, overall. But even after they finally acquired McGriff, they never could seem to get enough offense to help out the pitching staff, which (from what I remember) was pretty formidable that season.

No,indeed I meant Mark Giengreco.Back in the late 80's and early 90's Giengreco was with NBC and during McMichaels playing days he would join Mark Sunday nights during the football season and talk about the game just like they do today but it's more sophisticated now .Back then every week was a joke at Giengreco's expense.He would'nt pull that shit with Adamlie.He's a former football player and would kick his ass!lol.

He was an invited guest from the Cubs organization to do the 7th inning stretch “Take Me Out To the Ball Game” … and the umpire can have him ejected from the stadium? That’s nuts. I played baseball into college. It's the funnest sport to play but even I have a hard time watching it. Pace of play has to be dealt with somehow. Quit letting hitters step out anytime they want.
