Steve, I've been a fan of yours since I was 14 years old. I'm now 48 and I've enjoyed many genres of music but I still come back to you as my all time favorite. I've so enjoyed your Wariner Wednesdays! It has inspired me to revisit all the songs of yours I fell in love with. You have sang all my favorites over the past few weeks but I would love to hear you go way back and sing "By Now" .

Hi Steve, You were up in Big Bear, CA one year in the mid 90's. My girlfriend won tickets to your outdoor concert from our local station KIKFM. This was the first concert I ever saw you. I always hoped you'd come to the Crazy Horse in Santa Ana, but Fred Reiser never booked you, that I remember anyway. At the time, I had no clue who you were but did know your music. I used to never pay attention to the artists name, just the music. We actually met you as you were walking through the small crowd. It was only when you started singing your songs that I realized who you were! Wow, was I impressed that you actually came into the crowd and spoke with us! You're so down to earth and such an amazing singer!!!

One of my favorite Steve Wariner songs is from your 1988 album "I Should Be With You" entitled "Caught Between Your Duty and Your Dream". Absolute perfection on Steve's cowritten song with Bob Lumand and Dottie West!! Go to 35:00 for the background of the song and Steve singing it. This song could not be more Dottie West if she had written every line and every note. I can hear her singing every single note. Fabulous, just fabulous. Jeanie Sealy's is great, but Steve you need to record it too. Just killer.
