A martial arts instructor I know that - no matter how good you are - you can't overcome the advantage of weight of numbers.

Even when he was facing down his demise, he was still cracking jokes like, “Take my Life savings”, before ultimately realizing that his less than ideal life is over. The Clerk then accepts his fate, and decides to go down like a man before being brutally gunned down before he had the chance to fight. This truly belongs in the Oscars
