IMPRESSIVE....VERY IMPRESSIVE. One of the best flight training videos I've ever seen. Shows the staccato thinking and talking required to be safe in the air. Also shows potential pilots what they're "getting into" BEFORE they even climb into an airplane. (an ex military pilot who wishes he had seen your video...50 years ago!)

Always great content. I was watching Back before I went Commercial and now I still keep coming back to watch. Cant believe I went from student to captain watching you. You inspired me to fly what I love instead of running to the airlines immediately. I’m still flying a 1900D and loving it...

Steveo - This was probably the best primer I've ever seen for explaining the complexities of single-pilot IFR. Yes - you had your hands full. But Yes - you did everything calmly and professionally. Great Job!

Another great video, detailed and so illustrative of the challenges in a short flight in busy airspace. And to narrate at the same time makes the presentation even more impressive. On a 30 inch HD monitor, it's almost like being in the other seat

The best way to describe a single pilot fight is a conductor of an orchestra is directing and playing an instrument at the same time. Of course you make it look easy and sound good.

Steveo. Glad to see you back workin' hard on this short, busy hop. Interesting. Need to do some repositioning and closeup camera adjustment on those right hand panel instruments, especially when flying into the sun. We couldn't see them very well most of time, but great of you to feature them for us. Keep it up. Thanks for the video!

That was a great video Steveo!!! Although it was a short flight, I found it to be very informative! Single pilot IFR is truly no joke, you have a lot to manage. It was pretty cool seeing you go in and out of the clouds during the approach. It reminded me of my first ILS approach almost close to minimums into Pensecola!! It was pretty intense. Thanks again!!

I’m hoping sometime this year I can start taking lessons, you Flightchops, Aviation101, Baron Pilot and LewDix have got me wanting to get out from behind the simulator (which I fly whenever I get home) and start the real thing. Fly safe and can’t wait for the next one.

The speed of the TBM makes the workload higher, though the high end AP and good avionics help. In a slower plane, you have lots of time to set up for these things.

Fantastic video. First time I've seen an IFR flight between two Class B airports, with a single pilot aboard. Man they had you humping changing headings and frequencies. The approach to St. Pete was amazing with all the heading changes, in an out of the soup. Enjoyed every moment and will watch it again. I have seen three of your videos, especially the ones with the delightful female pilots aboard in the Cessna 206. Wow, what a lucky man he is. Good job and keep the videos coming. Gary

Clever, Steve as steve. Been following for a long time and I think you are in a rush, flying an aircraft with speed and power that is not needed or welcomed on a safe approach. Great job on showing how single pilot is 100% consumed. A good lesson for anyone flying or chartering. Charter or hire for two pilots...one of them is going to be more concerned about selfies.

Mr. Steveo, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed your video. (Happened across it looking for a video of my granddaughter.) I'm 72 y/o, but "played with" the Mac Flight Sim (for fun) after I retired years ago. I was never very successful with the flight sim, but I remember enough to be TOTALLY IMPRESSED with your piloting skills. Your confidence, knowledge of your aircraft and procedures, and ability to focus on multiple tasks are amazing. Your age, red hair and cool confidence reminded me of my younger son... and when you pulled out the skateboard... you could have been my son! ;-) Best wishes for continued success in aviation! ~ Fred

Very Nice Trip ~ Way back to April 1985 I was 17 and down from Michigan staying with friends (St Pete Beach) while on spring break. Paramount Studios was in the area filming for the movie Summer Rental starring John Candy. Keeping this short I met him privately after filming was finished for the day. Our location was on the beach and a mile or so south of the Don CeSar Hotel. Candy's temperment and personality was exactly like the characters he played in most movies. He had a very big heart. Great Man and Great Actor.
