These idiots survived because of money, theres a million of these 2 on the streets slowly dying and we dont care. Why are these 2 different? Because they jump into bushes off buildings and live out the worst stereotypes of a nation? Crazy smfh

I hit 9 years clean from a 15 year opiate / heroin addiction in just a couple weeks on 5/27/24. I got on a bus from my hometown of Jacksonville Florida to central Ohio where I only knew one person, which was a cousin I hadn’t seen in 20 years. I have been clean since that day. I was able to do it cold turkey. 3 months later I met my now wife. 2 years and 5 days after moving here, we bought our first house. I forgot to mention, when I got on that bus from Jacksonville, I woke up that morning in my tent that I had be living in for 2 years. There is more to the story, but that’s the basic idea

@@VegasKlNGz here in a bit, I will try to find the time to fill in more of the blanks. But to answer your question. I honestly didn’t care, but the last 3 years, the preferred was heroin. Started with Lortab, Vicodin, and Percocet (I broke my ankle and had to have surgery in 2000 and those were the 3 they gave me immediately) but I will tell my story every chance I get and my wife used to ask me why I told everyone. My answer was always the same “you never know who you are talking to” basically, you never know what that person is going through or if my story might be what they need to hear to get out of addiction. I had no money for rehab. I just had a bus ticket and a duffel bag of clothes when I moved.

Congrats on all the combined years of sobriety & well done Mike, you look & sound great (side note: that haircut really suits you), I’m looking forward to buying the book, both Mike’s & Steve-O’s 🙌👏 Onwards & upwards! 🥳

On a real note, this was great now that I've finished it. I live at the Jersey Shore and have been a fan since the beginning, and I could confidently say that Mike was my least favorite in the beginning. He has not only did a complete 180 in his life but in the eyes of his fans; he's my favorite now. Literally went from worst to first for me, and I'm sure my opinion mirrors a lot of others that tune in on Jerzday.

Liked the episode but he definitely is a bit too self centered for me. But I had to watch because I hated reality shows but out of boredom I started watching and got hooked. Watched it all back then. 😂 Hilarious to watch. Gotta give them that. But you gotta be self centered to be on those type of shows anyway. If everyone was super humble it would be boring, I get it. But still, respect for changing his life around. But yeah the sober is thing bringing it up a lot is something I heard someone mention. Steve O or a comedian maybe? They said that people shouldn't clap for soing what they should've done from the beginning. If anything you're a pos for getting addicted and then you expect us to congratulate you for doing the right thing everyone else did? 😂😂😂 Just a comedic point of view.
